Are you expecting to have Only DLC Premium Ships for … Free?
My problem is even when i actually own DLC ships that i payed for, a actual module on the ship is only usable by doing a waste of a day mission with little payout, or putting money into a rip off CASH GRAB container. I was expecting to be able to use all i payed money for…not get sucked into a pay system with lower chances then that in CSGO. That’s what kills updates for me now, we know the devs make enough money as it is, why keep pressing us with ridiculous money grabs like that? Its cool they allow premium ships to be obtained free, but going as far as making features present on ships you need to buy or obtain over a very large amount of time even more of a grind just to make a extra buck, that’s where it gets just sad…DLCs worth $140 dollars and still need to pay more to use all they offer, just :fed014: :fed014: :fed014:
Bad Call Devs…Bad Call…
I wish more people would use the forum to express their opinions about the changes.

Its useless.
New players and R1-6 dont know what is coming and R6+ they wake up and left. :)
To 1.3.7 :
Premium ship - dont care, but why make rework? Make Reaper Mk2 and old Reaper available only for those who bought it long time ago
Special Offer. Unique bundle container with valuable resources - no comment
Miscellaneous - ahh there is shiny new icon for the “F-key” Hmmmm PvP, PvE unplayable, ohhhh we can look at the new icom and smile happy.
Bug fixes - only one fix?
Dear Dev team. Dont know what U plan to do to SC. My opinion is that player spends approx. 1-2 years in game and then moves to another game or somewhere else . (RL, Getting older, Switching from PC to Girlfriend/Boyfriend). SC is more like Counter Strike not like EVE. But last updates slowed the progress in game for usual player almost to zero. Almost everyone uses Steam and comments fo SC are …
Have nice day
Regarding 1.3.7 Update #1 :
What does the following mean?
Matchmaking
Additional changes have been made to the matchmaking system. This will have a positive impact on queue time for some players, as well as team sizes.
Decreased queue times for high effectiveness pilots.
If a couple of these players is in the queue for too long, they can get into a team, with a slightly lower average pilot level.
Their number in such battles is limited
I’m sorry perhaps my english is not up to par?
“Decreased queue times for high effectiveness pilots.”
- To me this means players that are better skilled then others, or perhaps have better pilot rating.
“If a couple of these players is in the queue for too long, they can get into a team, with a slightly lower average pilot level. Their number in such battles is limited”
- Now I see “these” as this highly skilled player may have long wait so should then get some fresh player to lower their queue time?
- This seems quite contradictory from skilled pilot, to getting a fresh pilot to join squad for quicker queue.
- I humbly request for an elaboration of this update #1, sadly i do not understand some of the context.
Many thanx and my regards.
Validus
The Grind is just not tolerable anymore. For me as a player, that has about an hour time a day, the “special” ships are not obtainable in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe in a year I might have one. Even normal progress is down to almost nothing. To keep players hooked and coming back, you need to give them a sense of progression.
I own the Reaper and Phoenix. Now I have to grind for the special module? Really? That’s just a ****-over. Much Money has been spent on DLC because i liked this game. Oh hey, you like our game? Here you go, grind a special module for that ship you bought. Oh you have a real life? Then pay up my friend. :fed013: I don’t mind spending money if i have fun, but the direction of the game at the moment is not giving casuals much chance at getting something for free. Even with Premium and some dlc, progress for casuals is just not there.
I understand that the 10 mil container was designed for people with billions, but the price still isn’t right. The stuff that you get isn’t worth 10 mil. If this game is anything such like other games, than the hardcore players are a minority. You shouldn’t implement changes based on what the richest of players have in the game.
That you’re giving special modules and weapons to underpowered dlc ships is a good move. It’s fun playing with them.
I’m surprised, the changes to MM weren’t made before. But let’s see long term if we get more balanced matches. A good Change.
Would you like to share how the MM determines pilot skill? Will it prevent seal clubbing? I’ve got a person in my corp with high elo, that deliberately goes back to flying rank 5 just to drop that elo back to a low level so that he would get weaker opponents. How will the new MM handle this?
Giving hope is one thing and is important to players who do not have “fat wallet”. Though it must be attainable in order for the effect of keeping players.
We must understand, StarConflict is a game yet Gaijin is a company and business. A company cannot stand unless there is some sort of constant income.
Though as I mentioned its great to give Hope to players that can eventually get something nice, but whats better, are reports from other players stating that it’s actually been done.
To me I just think those special ship maybe unique but not really much better than normal ship, unlike destroyer or secret project, they can offer a totally different gameplay experience or are much better than normal ships. So as a player that don’t have a fat wallet, I just ignore those special ship, and that doesn’t make me a bad player
One thing I noticed on this patch is the change on the tackler’s ODG Chameleon visual effect. It was much better before, when you had the sensation of invisibility. Just pointing it out!
+1
its confusing now if tacler is hidden or not :-/ set it as before patch

I don’t know man. I think the brokh is much better than standard engineers. It has a good module setup for high energy and good tank and the healing weapon heals shield and hull at a higher rate than eclipse. So, yeah, i think the devs need to be really careful, what special modules and ships they implement not to make standard ships obsolete.

This must be a bug for a few users. I’m not having this issue and havent heard it from any corp mates either.

i play on linux maybe this is reason :-/
I stopped playing PvP yesterday because of too one-sided matches. I had players dying like flies in team battle and checking their profile can’t blame them - complete freshmen. 20 ships/ less than 100 battles… And we were matched against average players so no chance… Something was really broken in mm hope that update #1 fixed it. Are you telling me I have to loose 200 times now?
And in general if you balance considering win ratio do you realize this value will become meaningless soon??! We all will just get closer to 1!
But apart of that: lags - much worse than before, disconnects, bugs - something with drones guarding beacon… My hype about reaper+phoenix faded

Please, explain what is wrong with drones guarding beacons?

I experienced an issue, it has shown that they are still there (On the top of the screen) and they were visually still there, although I could fly through them, cap the beacon etc. They were visually existent, but didn’t do their job.

So shadow of the past?
Like the trails of aliens in OS?

CinnamonFake im not sure if its a bug
I feel a little cheated here. I spent enough money on this game to get a tropical holidays. Or buy a used car (but cars are cheap here, so it doesn’t matter). I bought some of the DLCs twice. Because I can. In return I am being told all the time “pay up more” or “you can grind it”. Now I tried those methods of getting phoenix/reaper modules. it takes between 2 to 3 hours to get a single part for them due to queues, designated modes etc. Or I can just spend 12k GS on each ship without grinding just to see if it was worth it (cause what we saw in the official stream was a demo version - I think Rakza was saying something about those frigates were adjusted before deploying to live). Final insult came from something I thought that was actually a great idea - converting unnecessary parts from the mission to monocrystals. Practical implementation and implication of this solution almost made me scream. With the current solution it was better to get nothing or get vouchers as before. I will let players to find out what am I talking about themselves.

Okay… lets think about your situation:
You get the content of the DLCs. Right.
You have the bonuses of the DLCs.(+10% credits or something?)
You got what you had paid for right?
I feel a little cheated here…
If, instead of dropping parts for ships we already have, we get parts for modules - it’ll be really nice.
Here, what I pay for DLC equals ordering beer and fries in a pub once and I got more fun from DLC’s! (Still can’t give up on beer though) :fed015:
Grind is ok - but 1.3.7 introduced mission like “dmg cap in combat reacon” and you can’t just get module drop so it’s worse than grind! Don’t think buying is the only alternative - we can convince dev’s to make grinding process more fun. I believe we actually on a same side here - we all want more players/content/stuff to unlock and yes - things to buy.
