Welcome to discuss Star Conflict 1.3.7 :012j:
This is… i… cmon that just epic!! <3
Patch came out a day early! I’m not happy about this!
I think I’ll save my actual feedback for Youtube.
Just tested the Repear in open space with some friends:
Results:
-
Gettting the spear tip inside the opponents shields and close to the hull, will result in an avg of 50 - 250dmg/sec to the hull Only and will not effect shields. (About time this was added
-
Will not effect cargo ships in open space, even after engaging with primary weapons. (dunno why)
will update with more info later.
(Update) - About ramming cargo ships: Seems it only works when your near the “lock on” or absolute center of the ship. Spear tip will not take effect on the edge of cargo ships. Perhaps adding / modding it to where you can damage cargo ship anywhere on its surface?
- Under “Customization” > we may now change Color 1, Color 2, and color 3.
- @Devs and whom it may concern. Please Do this also to Grim and Sai. Thank you.
-
Spear tip also does dmg to turrets in “Captured Dreadnought” (PVE).
-
Spear tip / ramming the cruiser does no effect. ;-; To bad. Perhaps adding this?
-
Spear tip / ramming does no damage to Cyper Outposts in “Crimson Haze” (PVE).
surface? Also adding this to Cyper outpost and Crusier?
-
Spear tip / Ramming does not effect “Charging cells” in “Ellydium raid”
-
Spear tp/ Ramming VS Destroyer: Will not effect the edge (front back) of destoyer. one must get closer to center for effects to take place.
-
Tractor Beam (Module) is nice. Allows one to pull an opponent out of cover and expose them.
Phoenix:
- 2 new shield modules which does various things such as share/ equalize targeted ally shields with yours, and another increases it a bit faster though reducing all your resistance to zero. (if i am wrong pls say so:)
-Personally I prefer the standard modules.
- Under “Customization” > we may now change Color 1, Color 2, and color 3.
Other:
- Allies tab in HUD has been added.
- T3ish (or ranks 6 - 10) Defence Contract PVE:
I belive the crusier has been nurfed. I ask why? Its already easy. Why take off the 6 or 8 “Fast Blue orbs of Death” Turrets that sit on top of the Cruiser and replace with “Slow pink Orbs of hugs”? Why!? That was the crusier’s trade mark. Everyone was affraid of those. Why? Most of us before this patch have had an encounter with those “Fast Blue orbs of Death” and seen our ships become dust in mere seconds. Why ruin that? Why take that away? ;-; I’m so sad.
There is something that just came up from a friend who is playing for the Reaper. It is a rank 8 ship just like destroyers and the Phoenix. Also, monocrystal is considered as a possible loot drop. Now, if we add up all of these we get neodium, parts of two ships and monocrystal for the same loot. So the chances of getting Reaper parts e.g. are way lower than for other ships like Brokk, Archelon, Stingray, and rank 11 destroyers. Am I right in this? And if so, it would be nice to have an option to specify the ship one is playing for if there are several ships of the same kind within the same rank.
I understand that the free bundle will give the chosen parts but in the random loot search not necessarily.
Otherwise the patch looks good and the new ship features are epic.
One thing I noticed on this patch is the change on the tackler’s ODG Chameleon visual effect. It was much better before, when you had the sensation of invisibility. Just pointing it out!

What? It still has the same glassy effect.
Seems the modules and ships have different components. I got a reaper part in a drop but I’m still 0/60 for the module.
Also, I think it may be a good idea to list all the containers available for purchase in the bundles window as before.
Oooh, early patch! I’ll have to edit when I’ve built up my Reaper then!
POST TEST:
Okay, so after building up my Reaper I can clearly see an objective for the ship. Displace enemies and keep itself in the middle of the action. The Reaper now although it is in a good way is almost the polar opposite of the version we just said goodbye to which was forced to fire from afar due to poor build opportunities and the lack of adaptives, which now is more than compensated for with the new modules which allow for massive burst healing if the reaper can cover itself for long enough, allowing for it to run headlong into battle once more.
NINJA CHANGES:
Focusing lense now needs a blueprint from INVASION. This is not the right way to go if you intend on changing how munitions are obtained. If this were the resonating munitions then it would be fine since they were previously premium only, but since the focusing lense was STANDARD, this was unnecessary and unwanted.
HUD CHANGES were not needed in the slightest. Now it is more difficult to see whether an enemy should be engaged without locking prior, broadcasting your interest in battle.
OTHER THINGS OF NOTE:
The new bundle although handy since it is available for credits is ridiculously overpriced for 1 part/bundle. A more reasonable cost for such an item would have been 2-5 million, not 10 million credits (not everyone in the game is a veteran).
SPECIAL MODULE TASKS seem too generalised in description, with stage 2 indicating that I needed to only kill 20 ships with thermal weapons, but not mentioning that it had to be pvp.
INFLATION is now an evident problem in the trophy loot pool.
Why I keep getting components for Phoenix if I already own the ship? Those are not counted as components for special module so I rly don’t see a point…
What? It still has the same glassy effect.
strange… coz I don’t see it…
I’m giving up trying to be coherent on YouTube.
It feels to me like the Phoenix and Reaper are still fundamentally flawed ships because the defensive modules they need (Galvanised Armour, for example) are locked at R9+. I’d still much rather be flying a Styx than a Phoenix, and the need to grind a unique set of tokens for the modules is a real kick in the teeth. The fact I’m still getting parts for ships I already own feels like artificially inflating the grind, particularly as there are now four drops in Rank 8 - Mono, Neo, Phoenix and Reaper. Six if the module parts drop there too.
Sadly, I’m not having fun with this patch. More unnecessary grind, more being forced to fly frustrating ships for the sake of access to drop tables, more frustration at the drop tables… I’m struggling to find the motivation to complete the new daily mission. I don’t think I will.
Games should not be pissing me off as much as this one is. I’m going to go play DOOM instead.
Grind is Fun, Grind is Life ~Koro
And what do you want to say? Your message isn’t clear.
But mine will:
DLC available for free for playing the game:
YES.
But R8… I’m not sure if this is so good as R8 is already full with my destroyer, so this is a lost loot chance…
LOL 310 million credits spent: x4 neo, x10 mono, x5 berry, x4 Brokk, x5 Stingray, x1 Phoenix, x2 Reaper.
It is still a nice thing to have this.
unique set of tokens for the modules
For making upgrade easier for the pilots who owned this ships already. This is the only way to add new things to Premium’s, cause they were purchased once and can not be changed simply.
The fact I’m still getting parts for ships I already own
Looks like a reason for creating the bug report.

Then why not just have the same component for the ship and the module? Why force two sets of grind? Why require people to complete THREE contracts, some of which are mission specific, to get one piece per day?
I seriously doubt it would break the game that much if you could use regular Phoenix / Reaper tokens.
I’m really disappointed in the implementation. It’s basically killed all the enthusiasm I had for this patch.
Also, based on the description of the ship parts, it’s not a bug… “excess tokens will be converted into monocrystals.”
Seems the modules and ships have different components. I got a reaper part in a drop but I’m still 0/60 for the module.
Same! Actually i got around 3 - 5 when i spent a few 10s of millions on the “Misplaced Conatainer”. Checked the components and still 0/60 for the special module. Fix? glitch? error? Perhaps i misunderstand?
Then why not just have the same component for the ship and the module?
It’s easier to implement this right in the game economy this way and controlling it. And will it be the great difference?

That’s right, but I was talking about this -

Huge difference.
My way, I would now have 2/60 tokens for Phoenix module and 1/60 for Reaper, and could potentially have several more by the end of the day.
Your way, I have 1/60 and 0/60 respectively, and that’s all I can earn per day.
Excessive grind to force people to use a player-unfriendly monetisation method to acquire parts. This makes it very hard to actually be positive about the change, since it’s another one of those updates that are filed under “don’t bother, you’ll never get it anyway.”
