So I spent 200 GS in exchange of 300k ish crit dmg and beat leaderboard time by 2 minutes. I would say worth it if you equip it on r11 destroyer.
P2W is strong in you!

I usually don’t buy these kind of stuff (hence no VIP stats) but I couldn’t resist to test how big the numbers can get
At least the community now know how OP is r11 destoryer + alien ammo. I wonder how OP is T5 destroyer if devs don’t fix the balance…

It isn’t OP… you just have to adapt and understand that dessies work as intended!
So i got matched against a T4/R11 destroyer last night and the only ship i had in my loadout was a R8 destroyer.
Can somebody give me some insight on how the MM works nowadays, i know before it was -/+1 rank and nowadays it’s -/+2 ranks to speed up search times, but how am i getting matched up against a ship 3 ranks higher than my own ship?
I know you can manipulate the MM a bit by having premium ships in your loadout, but i thought any higher ranked ships that you have in your loadout you just can’t use if you’re in a lower ranked game.
If i already didn’t dislike the rank MM, this R11 destroyers getting matched up against lower ranks issue would make me dislike it.
A limit in numbers would suffice.
Yup i said it in my previous post already, but having a destroyer cap per team seems to be the way to go.
The destroyers are what was promised, a powerful gunboat, there are just way to many of them. They should be more of a limited tactical asset to the teams instead of at the moment turning Star Conflict into Fractured Space/Dreadnought.
Give it time they’ve only been out for a month or so, sure they’ll probably take a little longer since they delay the release of each type but they will balance it a little more after everyone that farms / buys has got one
Well somebody else actually said it best imo, this time period before the broker missions finish just seems to be a teaser for people who don’t want to either farm like crazy or buy destroyer containers to get their R11 destroyers.
Basic freemium phone game model here, if you don’t pay or put in quite some extra time than you’ll have to wait.

I really want to have a crack at this myself, when i eventually get my R11 destroyer. ^^ Sadly for a lone wolf player it’s a pain in the xxxx to get into these kinds of team organized games.
PS: Doomb0t i’ve noticed that certain ships now can suck in loot from 450m away, could we get this for all the ships, even the smaller ones? Feels so much less tedious grabbing loot with that extra 150m of range.
The Halo launcher should not damage self when hitting an object within about 540 meters. How could one use this main weapon against interceptors close to the ship?
Otherwise the r11 destroyer seems to be awesome after a few runs with it. Maybe the gravitational lens at station entrance is a bit of an annoyance… to others.

Bigger ship = bigger range. Destroyer can scan the cargo from 900 meters.
PS. Thx for that ninja patch Devs
My Antares is now called SVC Antares (Space Vacuum Cleaner).
Decided to drop by just to see if Star Conflict is still alive. Decided to post, not because I want the game to be fixed (or even care about it anymore), but because I’m tired of seeing the same old BS going unchallenged. I’m tired of players getting shafted, and you (Devs) acting like it’s somehow normal and hiding behind the excuse “everybody does it”.
It’s free-to-play game, in free-to-play games people are grinding.
The Pay-not-to-Grind scheme is only one of several possible F2P options. Sadly, it is the most popular among developers because it is one of the easiest to exploit. You very easily could have improved the monetized visual customization by now, in a manner that several of us vets had suggested, using micro-transactions. But instead you continue to rely on macro-transactions to drive your game, and continually look for ways to give players less and less for their money.
Your ‘Pay-not-to-Grind’ game has crossed the line a long time ago. You are officially in the ‘Pay-to-Enjoy’ category. And as a player who made the mistake of paying $80 to your game, paying doesn’t even bring enjoyment. You didn’t respect the time I gave your game OR my money, so I left.
Community doesn’t have only one opinion. People are different. And of course we can predict that someone will be disappointed or not
Should we develop game considering only your opinion? :008j:
By now you have chased off or lost the majority of the old guard vets who shared JasanQuinn’s views. We got wise and realized that you were determined to ignore (or censor) any feedback that didn’t fit what you thought the game should become or would threaten your monetization scheme. Heck, you probably still delete any topics that attempt to discuss the game’s economy, simply because you refuse to consider that you might be doing it wrong.
Of course the community doesn’t have only one opinion. The community has NO opinion! The only time game development happens to match the community’s expectations is either pure luck or if the majority of your players decide to boycott the game for awhile. That is seriously the only way to get your attention, is to threaten your income.
At any rate, I have no intentions of ever coming back to your game, and would encourage others to stop holding out for that ‘one patch’ that will fix everything. Guess what? That patch isn’t coming. You’re hopes that this game will one day be worth playing are a fantasy. Move on with your life, and find a game worth playing.
Don’t like what I’ve said here? Ban me.
Bigger ship = bigger range. Destroyer can scan the cargo from 900 meters.
I know, but i would still like to request the 450m range for every non-destroyer ship, just makes collecting loot less tedious imo.

I still hope the game will man up. But since i haven’t gotten any reply to my earlier comment:

I’ve deleted the game today. Sorry i won’t be playing with you guys. You can still catch me on steam. I want to have fun when i play a game, not be frustrated. I also have to change my review on steam, which was a positive one. I can’t just keep supporting this.

I already explained why. The answer is in the russian forums

At the moment, 11 destroyers of rank can meet with the destroyers of the 8th. This is a temporary measure due to the need to significantly reduce the waiting time.

Ah ok i see it now, those screenshots diverted my attention away from the actual information. :005j:
Thank you for answering though and providing a direct quote.
As for the actual reason why this is happening, dayum that’s stupid, ‘‘Hmmm queue times are long what shall we do? Oh i know, do something that will clearly affect game balance’’. :01414:
They lied about berilium in space, made a drop rate lower than Greece economy and made neodium over-accessible. They just play on players patience that is pretty much nonexistent here obviously to buy or quit the game. Its a shooter type game anyway, to expect a simplified eve online from it is asking for too much.
why do all MMO’s have to start to fall appart shortly after i invest money in them is one of the greatest mysteries of the universe to me XD
not long ago i finally learned most of what there is to learn about game mechanics, got the skill, grinded hard to improve some gear, and when i felt prepared to start some serious pvp gameplay, the destroyers were implanted and ruined everything… the r8 weren’t that bad, but still an unwelcome change for me… the r11 are just too much… clumsy flying turds everywhere, with absurd firepower, completely destroying the game for most other ship types… what is a recon good for when there’s a dessy sitting at every beacon like a fat frog waiting for flies (etc.)?
this is not the game for which i decided to spend my money anymore (and it only took about 6 months this time!). i’ll repeat myself now, but i feel i must before i quit playing… give players a way to avoid destroyers in the game. make some special game modes for destroyers, but don’t let them into basic random pvp/pve…
i don’t even get why ppl play them (beside the recent rewards)… i built one and find it so boring to fly… if not for the rewards i wouldn’t fly it at all. but this is just my opinion and it’s ok. I’m not forcing it to anyone. and i’d appreciate you not to force me to play with or against destroyers, because the gameplay is completely different… feels like SpecOP compared to basic PvE. when i decide to go for spec op, i fit my ships differently compared to standard. the same would apply here… if i was given the option to choose :o(
I think we got spoiled a little with the r8 destros. Imagine building a rank 11 one just like any secret projects. By the time enough monos could be put together, enough beryllium should be there ready to use at about the same time. In normal mono farming mode it took like 2 months to get one ship. I got 13 enriched berries by the 5th day. So it does not really look like a Greek tragedy. :fed004:
Your game world is almost entirely made up of Killers. You severely limited squads which put a huge dent in your Socializers. Open space is so dangerous (Aliens), boring (nothing to do, no secrets), and un-rewarding (nerfed loot, secret containers) that you’ve lost most of your Explorers. And you’re grind is so tedious that your Achievers are leaving. That, and your Achievers are continually getting slaughtered by the overpopulation of Killers.
So, in short, you will eventually lose your Killers and your game will die because you do not have a sustainable ecosystem that encourages other Gamers besides Killers to stick around. And Killers won’t stick around forever without other Gamer types to kill.
There. I’ve been constructive and feel better about myself.
Bye.
I miss you SoldiersFortune
Thank you!! this is exactly the thing i was trying to say with the long dry design theory comment, but you translated it into human
as i said:
"Once you have identified the main archetypes who plays your game (there might be like only 4), you can easier go on to develop the game targeting these specific types.
But you will not be able to do this unless you do proper research."

I would just like to emphasise your point by saying that he totally nailed it.
