Any plans for expanding the ship providing task to r14 destroyers for extra activator thingies? It would be a nice reward for Sirius owners. ![:rolleyes:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/rolleyes.gif “:rolleyes:”) Also a good way to outrage those who haven’t got it. ![:biggrin:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/biggrin.png “:biggrin:”)

Pretty much it) Sirius can be used in Broker tasks, but will not give anything in Gage’s.

You can’t use ship above r12 in A. Gage, so how do you use your Sirius ? 

You can have a Sirius think about it and use it in r14 games to get electrum loot. Or get Sirius about open space. Otherwise Siriusly consider other ships for other resources.

Lastly, spend some Sirius cash and buy containers.

It can’t be a big problem to change it to r15. Anyway, I though we may have something for r14s too because I saw a “maybe” from Doomb0t somewhere in another topic.

 

Also. You are in great need of a feedback group for ship designs to avoid extra work like on the Sirius.

Wouldn’t that increase means you’ll sometimes need to send r15 ship to A. Gage to get the full reward ? That would reduce the reward of lower rank players

It could be player specific. Like the daily 2 voucher tasks.

It was more of a texture optimization on Sirius than design decision)

 

And it already looks better and would be even more if we got back the pretty light and little details for it.

But the overall design (shape) of it is still more like a pirate destro and not a fed one. That is why you guys need feed back in drawing stage. ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

Although, I guess you got the message already: keep faction ship style nice and clean and don’t mix them up… fed needs fancy party limos.

Dang… I’ve got nothing to whine about in this patch. Tyrant looks cool as hell. New modules as well. The rest is just minor fixer upper… topic can be closed. :))

I like it that cage now gives 15 electrum. The Patch is solid imho.

What about the mentioned 5 Day Tasks in the Dev-Stream on twitch? Could we maybe get a mission reward table as we did in phase 1?

The table will not appear this time. But broker missions gave different amount of rewards on some missions.

Is this means that he will give more than 5 activators per day? Because i’m worried about this 210 activators from Gage and Broker missions…from where we shall get the other 90 activators? Or they will become lootable again in trophy search? 

Okeh, so discussion open… venting engaged.

New Destroyer (Tyrant):
I was super pumped for the Tyrant before hand but now it’s released it kinda leaves a hollow feeling. The addition of Destroyer Computing systems instead of standards computing systems makes it insanely annoying to grind for in comparison to Sirius (regrets are now setting in) and almost makes it…  not worth it.  If the empire destroyer follows this trend of increasing grind then it’s almost guaranteed no one will want it except GMs and collectors (Koro).

Ninja-nerf to Tempest ** Barrage:**
Just like the addition of the destroyer computing systems, this was really not needed. Before when the tempest fired in a uniform stream it allowed more skilled pilots to direct the missiles that did not lock onto a target into a cloaked/larger target with ease, whereas now the missiles fly out in random directions; seldom hitting anything if they didn’t home.

Sirius discontinuation (what a sirius loss to our ranks):
Although we all knew it was coming I guess it never strikes home till you see someone make the last Sirius mere minutes before the Tyrant deployed (I’m being Sirius here), and honestly I think it would have been better to have all three destroyers available simultaneously and then removed simultaneously (when the Empire Destroyer was meant to be removed) to allow for players to have the final say over which one they want to build and not give in to impatience… or ridiculous grind walls (looks at activators).

Fire Support/Defence Contract changes:
These changes are more than welcome having had my fair share of random teams failing because someone thought it would be funny to bring a positron cannon built LRF instead of a coil mortar built one.

Survival/Team Battle changes:
Just like the FS/DC changes, this was more than needed. Survival and Team battle were typically extremely short battles, even when teams weren’t wound up cornered in their own spawns, so this should help out with extending the length of these modes (hopefully).

Interface changes:
I didn’t notice a single thing change…

New weapon models:
Although the new models look sweet and all (Ion emitter looks badass now), the models are actually too big for the old mounts on ships.

 

Summary:  Never has an update made me this salty.

Side note: How long ago was the story updated on the home page, it seems new and kinda scary o.O

Ninja Nerfed TEMPEST Launcher module ?

 

The Spread is just HORRIBLE now, preventing you to use it as a “siege weapon” (non-moving target/ close range),

It’s like 25 degree angle, and previously it was arround 10-ish.

 

Another nerf in the face of the Close range gameplay of destroyer.

Seriously, you really want to avoid people playing ships the way they want ?

Doing a TEMPEST-IN-YOUR-FACE is maybe powerful, but it’s a 2-edged sword, you have to be close, risk=reward.

People being killed by a straight Tempest salvo at 5000m ? Well, they deserve it, punished by not moving/paying attention/taking cover.

 

Cinnamon, please, can we have the reason behind this, with arguments ?
