Electrum will go through the same story as neo and berry before, and will appear in OS loot as well, but later a little bit
The OS comment was in regards to event tasks, you keep doing just co-op, and/or PvP ones for destroyer components. Adding the resource (to an already crowded pool of resources) in OS won’t be event related, it’ll just be normal.

Sending ships to war mission is available from A. Gage

The mission to send destroyers is the “regular deployment one”. I get it people expects a new mission (i expected that), but its already sayed multiple times in multiple topics that its simply the old mission from A. Gage…the one you send 6 ships and wait for 10 hours in a R15 account.
Nothing in the news posting suggests it’s the same one, and when you go through the usual routine of selecting them (just did it now), there’s no indication of any difference in options, or reward. The logical conclusion from all that would be that there’s another task, that we’re just not seeing. So what, they expect everyone to check the forums, for all the other posts complaining about the same issue to figure this out? If that many don’t get it, maybe they need to do a better job of explaining it, as even based on CinnamonFake’s response above, you’d never guess it was referring to the old one. This comes off as a lazily implemented event task they stuck in, the reward is nice though.

They do show how many targets are in range, but in a different place now (in spanish client you will see: “2 t.” I.E)…
I checked, again, and I see it where it should be now (it was better at the bottom, than the top, more open space at the bottom of the icons). Although earlier when I looked, while I did see “# t.” text, it was above all the icons, and towards the centre where the ship function icon is, not in with the icons for the related module (checked then with a destroyer, and guard ship), so I couldn’t see what that text was referring to, just that it was there, and it looked like they removed that function.

I have mixed feelings about the new models…
They look like those multi-coloured children’s toy guns they make these days, so people can’t confuse them for real guns, I just can’t take the things seriously. Considering as how we can’t really be expected to see them while actively playing anyhow, I’d much rather they just use one model, rather than try to differentiate them based on upgrade level, or whatever the idea is.

You can no longer use kits to upgrade weapons/mods? :S
No, you can’t, their only use now is to sell them, or salvage them, and the mark IV kits only give Iridium now, no materials. I asked about that in the dev blog thread, and was told then already they’d be made obsolete.
