Interesting idea. Sounds like a suggestion to me! Xp

NO,ITS COPYRIGHTED!

But srsly tho, that might just be the answer.

Oh yeah, they fixed assignment and sniper, but there are still words that trigger it; they are having particular difficulty with

particular

and

difficulty

think you need to

cultivate

this filter, even though cul cults are not allowed

ICU? Cul? Whaaaa?

It’s “cul” that is the problem.

That’s strange cause we’ve deleted not English swear words. Looks like one of them is still there for some reason. Will be fixed

Interesting patch, but this in particular caught my eye:

PvE
‘Fire support’ mission is one of the most popular in the game. For many pilots repeatedly completing the mission made battles with AI a monotonous routine.
Increased difficulty of the mission ‘Fire support’

The reason Fire Support is so much more popular than all the others is that it’s short, straightforward and doesn’t screw the player over with god-awful spawns or insanely demanding mission objectives.

The traditional missions (Blackwood, Captured Dreadnought, etc) are all split up into submissions, which adds around 90 seconds onto the mission in load times alone. Add to that it can take almost as long to beat a single wave of these missions as it does to beat all of Fire Support, and it’s clear why these are not popular with players anymore.

Defence Contract is, to be blunt, a terrible mission. Whereas Fire Support has the team advancing to objectives with lots of cover, Defence Contract forces players to advance through open space. Worst of all, unless you know to lure the last wave waaay over to the left in preparation for the Cruiser spawn, you can easily miss out on a huge window of time against the cruiser. Again, compare to Fire Support - even if you don’t know to move for it ahead of time, most players will be in or just out of weapons range when the Cruiser spawns because it pops in behind the last wave.

Fire Support is disproportionately played because it is the best mission from a player perspective. It’s the most efficient source of XP, it has the least downtime, and it’s the most forgiving to new and inexperienced players.

Fire Support was, in short, just fine - it’s every other mission that needs reworking.

It also has 1 extra loot.

I don’t know what this is but ECM sent my destroyer module into cooldown stage even if I did not use it. Is this a new feature or something? It was in coop btw.

“cul” means “arse” in French

srsly?does the game even have french in its language packs?!

I’m still upset about the turn keys. Reverse thruster is going to be a pain to relearn like this. I also generally used them to avoid things like asteroids when flying engi. Very rarely did I use them in interceptors or even fighters – not that it’s advisable to, anyways, since you lose 100% (75% for fighters) of your firepower if you try to use it in a fight.

Adaptives – I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. Last time it was changed to shields only, it was a “bug” released for a month or two, and nobody liked it. Wonder how it’ll fly as a “feature”?

T5 Dreads. I can see exactly how much work was put into the system since T4 dreads came out. Maybe 15 minutes or so to update everything and allow folks to play in the sectors. On top of that, the entire game mode has been more or less dead for months. There is an occasional change of sectors during russian times, but there hasn’t been so much as an attack launched in NA for a really long time.

Yeah, there’s also “pute” that’s banned (it means b-itch in French), so for example the word “compute” is banned in-game. Even after today’s fix… Seriously though cinnamon: save yourselves a lot of work and us a lot of frustration, and remove this stupid “profanity” filter that’s so buggy and useless.

Or at least dont make the obscene words visible to other but still able to send them!Actually that wouldn’t help a lot so just better purge it then.

I think that it’s a bit ********** to censor certain words by removing entire messages. Makes much more sense to simply replace with asterisks.

(ridiculous is the word, by the way. totally not making fun of the bad filter right now.)

Yes it is a little ridiculous (another cul word btw)

Oh and I forgot to write, the new shield booster animation is a little annoying since it flashes your screen blue when you are trying to see in the middle of battle. Also, the entire map knows that you have used shield booster. While that may be useful to see that someone is recharging during a battle, surely the recon that’s just warped 15km away or the LRF that is camping at spawn doesn’t need a super indicator to tell them I’ve just recharged my shields. ;p

Posting messages containing profanity and obscene words is forbidden. Automatically created reports will be considered by the administration.

There is already a bug report since over a week.

I still dont know which turn keys were removed nor what they mean by that, still fly as usual, still D.R.E.

Maybe it would’ve been better if the stage waiting on other missions was shortened to 15 sec instead eons, now it just takes longer to kill the cruiser but essentially it’s the same.

Spoiler

The additional special modules on styx and hyena are copy-pasta modules from special project ships, the sword one is maybe with a bit originality, not liking the continuity of T3 ship focus though. #T5matters

Not a dread fan but the change looks interesting, high tier plays like it’s meant to be.

I’m disliking the nerf on alien kill gain, it’s halved, half the synergy, not so much of a loot, but still the toughness/aimbotness remains. It’s not balanced, the amount of effort u need and the prize u get, not worth just doesn’t describe it. If devs nerf the damage aliens do to 1/2 it will be okay.
