To the T3 problem: 1/2 of my corp don’t PvP anymore in this tier. Because they don’t have a destroyer and it’s plain a pain to fight against. Not that they can’t be destroyed, but all the resources needed to kill them, are lost for all the other enemies. So 1 enemy for 4+ allies?
So ok, hype is over - we got the Destroyers and now complaining about the balance like “Not playing T3…”? It was obvious this patch is huge. I like the Destroyers.

actually pre Open Space was awesome. 3-4 man squads everywhere, lots of pew pew, dynamic battles etc
Pretty sure giving a one-way-through shield (or 2-3 of them at once…) to the most tanky and one of the most damaging ship roles in the game was a stupid idea. Same with warp. They don’t need cover, they don’t need strafe, they don’t even need to be fast. They don’t need aim with bot turrets and a 360 degree field of view… Do I even need to mention the one-hit-kill laz0r thing?
It’s like the dev who came up with these ideas just wanted to have a ship he could finally kill someone with. No skill required, just fly through the map with minimal back up from your team and rek stuff. All you need to win your matches is a couple hours of farming/a couple thousand GS thrown at the game and some hoping there won’t be someone else like you on the opposite team.

Slowly losing the social aspect of the game has been a real bummer. Losing the player counts, 4 squads, 2 squads etc.
For it just seemed like simpler fun. Find friends>play>have fun> learn>rank up>repeat
No, it’s not a bad thing that Devs added things people wanted…Just for me needs outweigh wants.
There were/are some issues with grind,balance, server stability and population which IMO should have gotten the resources before shiny new stuff (Dreads,Destroyers etc).
-Adding and new game mode (OS) spreads the population thinner increasing queue times and causing other issues with balance.
-Adding new ships causes more balance issues, resulting in more buffs and nerfs breaking some things and making others OP down the line
I like shiny new content too, it just seems that with every new major change to the game, (after official “release”) there is a core element of the original game that goes missing.
Even down to the major changes with leveling and purchasing ships. Huge changes to the core of a game should not really change 1.5-2? years after release.
In short yes. we would like squads back in the queue .
Now I can’t even see if my friends are in hangar or in battle and can’t squad with them outside of repetitive SCL and boring sector conquest.
It’s not the boring aspect that really troubles me, what troubles me is that every game mode that includes some sort of wing-making, is so time-consuming with pre-planning and waiting in queues, it builds up alot tension/expectations, but you seldom get rewarded by matching amount of “action” for the time/effort spent to make it happen. In PVP squadding this was never the case, at least not when the rules for pvp-squadding was fair.

People complaining that new stuff is op. It always is so that everyone scrambles to get them and possibly spends money. After the hype they will evaluate them and make changes.
As for 4 man squads, same thing. Half the time they are op because one is full of pros and the other a bunch of casuals with half levelled ships etc. Maybe if they had more battle modes for sq and randoms could do so if they wish but the 2 limit squad pvp also exist
I realy liked all the destroyers, how they look and how the preform in the game(not myself becous im not getting one eny time soon)
why do we have to collect so much reasourses, flying for hours in open space looking for this ore or just sit and look how a chage of one destroyer in a pvp game can that easely make the opositig team lose(destroyer are counted as normal ships so that will be ok if there will be a team only with destroyers against a team that has only fighters.
but im still intrested , are there going to be DLC destroyers? that you can just buy wich is much easier then looking for ores in open space or hoping to get what you need in the’’ rere destroyer menufacturing components’’

or at least make so there cant be too much destroyers in a pvp battle.
