Tooltip: Spills autonomous AI mines in to space. If an enemy ventures through this mass of black mines, the mines will stick to their hull and wait until at least one of their allies in within range to explode. After an enemy is within range, the charge will arm and detonate in 1.5 seconds.
Function: This is simply a normal minefield that sticks to enemies instead of detonating instantly. Great for tactical killing and hitting targets you can’t get to.
This thing makes no sense. Especially we already have a minefield.
Friend/foe detection is impossible for mines(that the already implemented have one is a logic flaw).
And sticking??? Sorry, that’s not a limpet mine. Else make it work like it - need to fly to the target and take a bit of time to attach it. That CAN work. But the ‘detonate in proximity to friends’ not.
That’s something impossible to determine for a mine.
