Spatial Scanner needs better visuals

Picture this: You’re piloting a frigate like the Mammoth, you’re trying to use the Spatial Scanner to hunt for loot, but the size of your ship is getting in the way of seeing the scanner circle. That’s really annoying, as you’re forced to turn your camera to see the scanner effect.

To remedy this, it’d be highly beneficial if the Spatial Scanner’s visuals were altered to be easier to see even if your ship is getting in the way.

Another suggestion would be increase the size of the animation sprite? or maybe do an addition effect on the mini map? idk never used the module before…

Imho it should work in 3D. Not just as bars, but as a sphere around you that has colored points that direct you to items or enemies.

There should also be more blue containers and pirate containers in OS but that’s for another suggestion.

This would be a definite improvement.

That would be pretty sweet. Like if it looked kinda like the ship indicators that swirl around the middle of screen. Makes me think of the detective mode in the Batman games or an Eagle Vision type system where it’ll highlight the objects of interest.

And indeed more crates in space would help make the journey more fruitful.

It would be nice if pirate stashes were a different color, or maybe allow the user to customize the interface/colors.
