some new modules

so i was considering some new modules that could be added to shake up the game, read and comment.

 

ECM:

 

-guidance hack

causes all missiles locked onto you to be switched to your locked target, long cooldown

 

Covert Ops:

 

-plasmid barrage

spawns 10 guided plasma balls with high maneuverability, they will target enemies around you dealing em damage, short cooldown

 

Recon:

 

-X33 S-thread tracer

fires an drone that sticks to the first object (including ships) hit and reveals all enemies around itself to your team for 30 seconds

 

Gunship:

 

-heating hack

weapon firerate is increased, so is weapon heating rate.

 

Tackler:

 

-“hunter” overdrive

steals movement speed from the locked target, amount stolen is increased by dealing damage

 

Command:

 

-targeting synchronizer

boosts weapon range of all nearby allies, boost is increased on activation

 

Long Range:

 

-decoy

spawns a hologram ship somewhere on the map with 10% of the real ship’s durability,

 

Engineer:

 

-“skyguard” system

spawns a stationary drone that fires proximity based rounds at nearby enemies, low damage, good at hitting smaller ships, acts as a deterrent

 

Guard:

 

-“phylactery” nano repair

on activation the ship will regenerate a large amount of hull points, passively gives a hull point boost when hull is below 15% once per minute

we have this, but only for  high ranks and it consumes a power slot.

drones are shot down so easily and it’s already on tacklers.

can replace the regenerative-plating because it really sucks on frigattes compared to interceptors where it just sucks a little bit.

firstly, yes, they are easy to shoot down, it’s called a counter. secondly, does SUPPRESSION mean anything to you? meant to draw enemy fire or force the enemies back, it lacks the damage or slow that tackler drones are made for.

 

why am i even entertaining somebody who thinks ellydium crash damage is a bug?
