Some helpful suggestions

1st, I usually end up without ammo & missiles whenever I launch with a squad. There should also be the question to allow a player the chance to refill ammo & missiles even if battle queue is initiated via a squad. I prefer not to click on auto refill as I sometimes suddenly change my missiles or ammos.

 

2nd, I know for a fact that when you launch for battle and your on queue, a lot of menus like the ship tree are not accessible. I hope they can all, if not as many as possible, still be accessible as this can kill some time during long battle queues. This should also allow players to check if they have not overlooked refilling their ammo & missiles.

 

3rd, please show the number of required level to get the next ship for ALL SHIPS in the ship tree, even if a player haven’t got the prior ship.

 

4th, at the hanger, whether or not on queue for battle, I hope there would be a functionality where in we can assign a default front line ship. Sometimes, I would forget to use the right ship for a certain game/match, or I could be AFK for the duration of the battle loading rendering me unable to select the appropriate ship I would like to first use at the start of a battle.

 

5th, could there be just a fixed display of the number of artifacts?

 

6th, when players gets an upgrade kit during looting, I hope there would also be information as to how many of the same type (green or purple) the player already have. This makes it easier to decide on whether to pick the kit or just get artifacts.

 

7th, why wouldn’t there be a separate chat tab for private messages?

 

8th, please and I say PLEASE, do something about the ever hassle contracts. They are anyway mostly redundant to achievements or medals. If they can’t be put away, at least make them automatic or without the limit of 3 contracts at a time. They usually influence the players behavior in a match regardless of the outcome just to get the loyalty vouchers. And it sucks when you get teamed up with such selfish players. Please realize the welfare this can bring to all players.

 

9th, for Christ sake, get the game its own voice chat as this kind of game badly needs it.

 

10th, I think rank 15 ships should have 10 slots for general modules and maybe even 5 role-specific modules. These should be the ultimate distinguishers and advantages of reaching the 15th rank. Some rank 13 ships would be preferred just because of the better ship-specific bonuses it has than the next higher rank and I believe the last ship down the line should be far outstanding and not be snubbed only because of overshadowed bonus.

Why don’t you simply put the ship you usually play with into the first ship slot. This way, it will be selected by default.

Also, I would strongly suggest, to not go afk while the game is loading. That way you don’t have the hassle of having picked the wrong ship at the start of the battle.

Mmm… yes? wouldn’t be frustrating or annoying if people start yelling at a language you don’t know? Did you experience that ever?

 

I’ve seen this in DotA 2 and it’s terribly annoying, people shouting at non english languages is just not good.

Well, I do that slot thing. I just realized you made it easier to switch slots. Although it has a little bug when you do it while queueing. Anyway, it’s just 1 of my several suggestions. And of course, I know it’s not advisable to go AFK on game loading. I was saying that there are times you can’t avoid it.

LOL. I feel you, sir. But of course there should be options to join or not. Mine are just suggestive ideas. It’s up to the devs of course on how to implement and regulate it.

I would be ok if they implement the voice chat, but we should have the option to hear the rest or not in Settings.

I have to agree with residente. I also know ingame voice chats from Dota2 - and they are a nightmare. That might be due to the Dota community itself - but as a matter of fact, when people are enabled to use ingame voice communication, then the number of reports will skyrocket, since a lot of players simply take the game too serious and can’t control themselves when they start to argue in voice chat communication. So, there probably will be many disputes. But we’ll see how the devs are going to solve it, if it is implemented at a later time.

You get enough credits in battles to cope with the refilling costs.

 

Concerning your last point: I don’t think rank 15 ships should have more module slots. Well-fitted R15 ships are very strong and they don’t need another module to make them even stronger. Also, the difference would be too harsh in comparison to other Tier 5 ships. When flying a Rank 13 /14 ship, you still should be able to win a dogfight against a player of equal skill.

Point taken, especially about R15 ships.

 

But you can’t deny that it’s still a lot better if the refill would happen before you launch, not right after every game. Only then would I use auto-refill if that ever gets implemented.

 

The fact that it’s something not working when you’re in a squad as opposed to not being in a squad should be automatically fixed without any question.

You do have good options in that list.

The latest patch with the voice chat came in too quick from the time I suggested it. I would say that the devs already planned to put it before I could even suggest it. So for those who are against it, please don’t blame me… lol :smiley:
