I was wondering, is it hard or to much work to implement a “search” within a tool? like I want to find all records of vs certain players?
P.S. love the latests update
Good idea, done. And thx.
Updated to 0.5.2
Added search function. Using the standard search hotkeys, so Ctrl+F to bring up the dialog, F3 to quickly find the next occurrence, Shift+F3 to find the previous. Search starts from the current cursor position; if the end of the document is reached, search will resume at the beginning.
Snib. How do you calculate the synergy bonus? Looking in the log it shows a lower bonus in your analyzer than it should (it shows 95% but should be 117% incl. fleetstreght, implant and DLCs). The exp in logs (that is also what it shows in the HUD when you have that enabled) I think do already include any bonuses from fleet strength, implants and DLC’s.
Too bad that Gaijin doesn’t want to share any economy related stuff whether it is syn, credit or loot.

Fleet strength does not go into the logs nor is it shown in the HUD (HUD values are identical to what’s logged) and is thus not included in the SYN+ column. As I previously said, fleet strength is only applied to a fraction of the synergy you gain anyway. All other bonuses excluding the daily double should be calculated and displayed correctly in the analyzer though.

Yep, was a bit disappointed by that response given that they pretend to show synergy gain in battle now.
Not sure about sector conquest since I’m not in a corp, if you send me a combat.log + game.log from a session containing a sector conquest battle I can check (attach to a post here or upload somewhere and PM me the link).
As to tabs, I suppose this is about analyzing all your archived logs? Because unless you play huge amounts of battles it should not matter for your daily logs. I’ll think about it.
well my retardedness continues, I still can not find how do i attach files directly here into my post. only thing i see remotely close to this is “My Media”, but i cant find how to add stuff there
Attachment seems to be disabled in this part of the forum. Go to forum like Game discussions click start a new topic then you can upload files/attachment and cancel out of creating the new topic. Those files will be then in your media.
Snib, how is it possible to have 110 %MSL? Can you also add hit rate for main weapon?

Actually this is my fault, as Enny said you cannot attach files in this forum section. I forgot about that; I even lost access to my own attachment I used to have in the OP when Antibus moved the thread here so I had to add that external download link instead. Sorry to make you waste time trying to figure it out.
Thanks for the files, I took a look, unfortunately and as expected, I see no way to identify SQ battles straight up. However, I guess one could try to indirectly identify them based on the different friendly fire rules. This would not be 100% because it’s conceivable that no friendly fire occurs in a SQ battle, but looking at the log I see even friendly beacon drones shoot at each other, or an engineer’s combat drones shoot down his own static shield, so it seems likely enough. I’ll give it a try this evening.

By hitting more than one target with your missile.

No, the logs only contain info about when you hit with a weapon, not when you fire it.

Separated PVP Skirmish, PVP Sector Conquest and PVE battles into separate tabs as per xKostyan’s suggestion.
Sector Conquest battle detection may not be 100% accurate because the logs do not actually contain that information. If you get skirmish battles detected as sector conquest battles or vice versa I’d be interested to know (along with your logs).
After parsing the tab containing the last battle parsed is activated automatically.
Each tab contains a separate average stats breakdown at the bottom (maybe I should move that into a fixed portion of the window instead of having it part of the flow text?)
The search function searches only the activate tab, but you can switch tabs and keep searching with the same search term using the shortcut keys. There is a very minor known issue that after you switch tabs the found search terms are not highlighted (I’ll fix that once I figure out why it happens or more likely I’ll forget about it xD).
Fixed a bug with deaths not getting counted for PVE battles.
Hey Snib, btw i haven’t encountered a single mis detection for PvP -Sec Con yet awesome stuff
I have a question, so when i have my settings set as:
and i have no “new” logs, all of them are archived, by pressing Multi, it will process ALL of my archived logs. Am i reading this option right? Because i expect it to not show me anything if this(3) option is off

It is as you say, if you select that option it will process all of the available logs even the ones that have been archived.
yeah, but i have it off, and it does process archived logs, while i expect it to not
Was a bug. Fixed.
Updated to 0.6.1
too lazy for a changelog except:
Note that I changed the deployment process a couple of days ago. The tool will now update itself automatically (it needs to be allowed to connect to the Internet for that). If that is ok for you then get the new version here.
It will install next to your old offline version, I suggest you uninstall that one first but you are free to keep it. You’ll have to reconfigure your settings btw.
