  • Weapon what ignroe shield is broke Jericho
  • insta teleport should not exist, because no way to counter it. (Learn for RT and balance it on the same way)

They provided us some sort of counters, but not suficient ones - multipurpose shield (waste of slot), big drone (that wont hit anything and you are  forced to have tackler), microlocator(you are forced to take recon).

Why we are forced to have 2 different roles and change of build on jerry ships just to counter one ship? Why those counterroles are most fragile ones while taikin has insane dps or autoaim weapon?

Couple days ago, I figured I’d play some SC.

All I did was play T5 in a tackler with an exception to couple of games where I used w/e (http://ts2.scorpclub.ru/api/v1/userinfo.php?nickname=xKostyan) (see 2017-05-25)

So except for the existing bug on Taikin satellite (perma debuff until you die) and a bit too many green balls (that will get toned down soon btw), it actually felt good vs all the Taikins flying around, of course, I did not face some best of the best out there, but there were some good ones from Ninja and from NASA. I saw making an impact on all those jumpy fleas, to the point where some got really mad and would just spend rest of the game hunting me, especially in Team Battle and Beacon hunt, where I could cover the general choke point while on domination I obviously couldn’t keep up with them alone.

 

Point is:

Fix amount of green ballz

Fix Satelite

Make cap immune to the return crystal, or otherwise tremendously increase the wind-up time + very visible charging animation and Taikin will lose a lot of its dominance and killing power. Of course, there is still that EM torp on low cd that has way too much dmg potential, but that critical imho.

 

 

 

 

Open and Closed test server will never be for balance. They are here to spot bugs.

You can’t use test servers for balance for a simple reason : everybody will use the new ship instead of plain standard ships.

 

So no, they can’t see before hiting live that the balance is doomed. At most they’ll see a few absurdity. But that’s it.

Another thing is that super testers are not some “best of the best” players in the game, which seems to be the main misconception among regular players. Pretty much all super testers are the players that just willing to do alot of rutine work and willing to bare constant blame for everything. They just need to be average-above average to understand the concepts and have an expiriense in the game to spot inconsitencies, but they are not requiered to be the balance gurus, becaue that is not really their job. There are some super tester that be TheDarkRedFox level of players, and, obviously, nobdy relies on those to spot Balance flaws.

Regardless of that, alot of the things were predicted ahead of time, but they were left just at that, as predictions.

Ikr. Tournaments are basically unplayable without big drone. 

Notice how many roaches swirled around me. At least half of them had abduction crystal. Even we had our engi to keep an eye on drone’s health ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”)

I want to see how broken or unbalanced Ellydium Engineering frigate will be. I won’t complain then, I will just simply disappear off the grid.

This game like a bad drug, It’s hard to put down. We all know it is bad for us, yet we continue on being tortured by huge nerfs and unfair balance.

 

You can’t quit as long as you keep checking in. The smell of the dope will suck you back in.

destroyers and Ellydium ships are different from premium ships by only one thing: the ship design that stands up from others

 

we still have premium ships, ex dart: that can block all the damage from a guard ship in front of it or engineers that can regen the shield faster than you can do damage or *insert any other premium ship here*

 

so… since i’m feeling generous today i’ll give you a free advise not many are aware of nowadays on internet:

if you don’t have to pay for something then probably you are the content for those who pay, here is no different ergo either enjoy it if you can or leave it be…

I have nothing to gain from SC anymore, but I still want to have some fun. Because I used to have fun.

That’s not a real reason why I don’t quit. Developers have threatened me that they will send someone. Guess who?

It is easy for me to kill ellydium ships, but i take more time to finish ellydium ships than conventional ships.

We need a proportional balance. For example, ellydium ships and conventional ships need same survivalbility, regeneration, resistence, speed, maneuvery…The difference is in the special bonuses, something like energy consumption, damage booster, speed booster, energy regeneration… (We can choose it in Ellydium ship evolution)

Ellydium ships definitely is not comparable to any conventional ships.

 

I cant understand how it is possible that so many things which are obviously broken are avalivable in game for so long time allowing players to exploit that fact. Small group of players is having fun and another much bigger group feels like pig in slaughterhouse. Its only matter of time when someone creates much better Star Conflict clone and that will be end of a story.

All people need to do is to check score at the end of the match. Differences are huge, one team score 5k points +, best pilot on lossing side can’t even reach 1k.

This situation last for months now, it began AFTER they introduced alien tech, so it’s not about new ships but matchmaker favour certain people and group up all loosers on other side. It was normal when it started, matchmaking balance was deliberatly ruined over next few patches.

 

This game is unplayable now, i already fired most of pilots in my corporation and will not recruit new personal. It seems this is all we can do, developers doesn’t react on our complains and after years of active playing, i certainly don’t want to provide cannon fooder for them.

 

This is not sport anymore but form of torture now, would not recomend this game to anybody. Even if they fix evil and corupt matchmaker, it wil take months to repair all the damage they have coused to many loyal and devouted players, if they’ll bother to change anything at all. Personaly i doubth they will ever admit deliberate manipulation of matchmaking system, who ever programed this evil wants this game to die in shame.

the problem with balance is  … product vs. profit …  the bottom line is  that there are a maximum amount of players that can be  logged on at the  same time  and still have a  playable  FPS . so players  want new  things  to buy (product) but  in doing that it  requires more  server space  to store the  new  ships  and  that results in the  maximum online players  being  reduced (profit) to save  space on the  server .  so how  do they balance  this  problem …     veteran players  buy very little  product . they have  everything  and  have  been buying and  farming  for  years  and  now  just play for  fun (take up space) . so whats the  solution  ??? these  veteran players  need  to be  removed from the  game  to make  room for  new  players  that still need to buy everything. how  do you remove  a  group of players  that have  been loyally paying and  playing  the  game  for  years ? …anger them frustrate  them infuriate them  till they simply find  another game to play  …  (phase 1)enter  the  R-14 destroyers  … wow  the  veteran players  loved those  …$1000’s later and  they had  all three  dominating the  game  like  never before  …for  one  month at least till the  R-14 destroyers  were  nerfed  to extinction. (phase 2) enter  the  Tai’Kin the  first ship to basically destroy PVP  (the original beta idea for this  game) no hull no shields but  you cant hit it  with any main weapon .however it  can hit  you and  when it  does  your  dead  in three  shots  … so what is  balance  … a revolving  door  of  new  players  that pay $500 over  2-3 months  then get bored  and  leave , making  space  for  the  next group of  new  players  doing  the  same  …  so balance  has  very little  to do with match making  or  ship ranks  and  a lot  to do with finding a way to charge  players  regularly without  taking  up server  memory  (IE… giving  them product)
