Show total damage

I’d love to see the total damage taken added up somewhere in the death recap, just to gage just how much fire I absorbed. Seems interesting.

Yeah, I always wanted to see such a thing. You know, you take damage, retreat skillfully, heal, repeat. How much damage you received when they finally killed you? xD

Do the math, you are getting shown all damage you received when you die during the flight with that ship.

If you die in the last 30 seconds for the first time, you see all damage you received before that. Calculating all the numbers together and boom. There are also numbers which you can not see, but these are lower than the lowest on your list. If you want to see the total number in the game you might use a log reader.

But I’m too lazy to do that much addition in the 15 seconds it takes me to respawn.

Yeah, that is a lot of damage, you can’t do math in few seconds just to see that. I mean there’s now technology that counts that for you in less than a second, why you should count it?

And do the math later. I’d rather let someone take the 15 minutes to make it where nobody has to do any math.

I always have a calculator at the reach of my hand in my computer desktop…i constantly find usefull uses to it :smiley: (i suck at maths and i dont like them, but calculators can make your life waaaay much easier…and maybe like what you are getting from it :D), like checking which build gives me higher dps (considering crits and sometimes overheat time…you could even take accuracy into account :P). I also have a whiteboard where i write temporal stuff to compare results :stuck_out_tongue:
