its been 3 years since this was mentioned, 4 since i started playing (and initially wanted this) and here i am discovering this buried under thousands of other suggestions that aren’t nearly as monetarily beneficial to Gaijin as this would be. Surely it wouldn’t be a constant income, but there are those Aerography’s we all want, but aren’t willing to constantly pay for. I’d even gladly spend 1000GS to make it permanently available!
However if you advertise it right, make new content for those who would actually want it (not just your opinion) like, with WarThunder you can unlock a graphic permanently and apply it across all your tanks, planes, boats whatever… and it is a steady income due to the game’s advertisement.
I can understand how you don’t want to advertise Star Conflict a lot, due to the extremely similar content to nearly all other space based movies, shows, and games… but… the only actual plagiarized content would have to be the Aurabesh on Station Mendez IX (not sure if it’s anywhere else) I haven’t seen any credit going to Lucas Arts for it, and now that it is owned by Disney you can expect them to raise hell over it.
I know all too well that this all boils down to monetary gain. BUT, you can’t honestly expect players to constantly fork out money to every whim and desire you have, can you? You gotta compromise, and these stickers are where you do it. You charge for ships, services, lotto’s, and experience transfer, but NOT the customization of EACH SHIP, seriously guys… you scare away customers by charging too much, you draw in customers with Bacon, and this game has little Bacon as it is… its practically Soy Bacon right now, a mockery of what Bacon should be.
