Server Status and updates on server issues

Would just like to suggest appointing someone in charge of keeping the community informed of server issues. I know you guys are experiencing a huge spike in growth, which I’m very glad to see! Awesome game!

 

However, the increased server stability issues are popping up. This is expected and I don’t believe a lot of the community is terribly surprised, after all this is still open beta. But, it would be nice to have some updates as to what is going on when they go down, and possibly some estimates as to when we will see them back up.

 

Servers are currently down, can’t log in or anything. Not surprised, but it would go a VERY VERY long way to keeping your community happy if they had a simple post of “Oops, things are down, we’re working on it, possibly an hour, will keep you posted”.

Somethin strange, one  day the max player is 500. one day after the number of players sky rocket to 1800. 3 day later is 5000players online :what: .

 

i smell a server atack with mirrors bots flooding the server.

it called steam - always at least 3million users online at once

Or, maybe it was just released on steam and now loads of people are playing?

 

Either way, it’s always nice to know what’s going on, I’m having far too much fun for the servers to conk out now :slight_smile:
