Self-Destruct limits

I have noticed at least two players on the opposing team and at lest one of my own team members deploying what I feel is an innaproprate action. Basically I or a teammate are shooting at a player and have their health down to near-death levels and then they self-destruct. Not just once, but almost every time you have them near death. I feel that this is not an approprate action for players to be performing as nobody gets the points for their death.

I suggest you apply limitations to self-destructing. If they recieved damage in the last twenty seconds, they should be blocked from performing this action. I would also suggest that self destructing distribute an assist kill to anyone who has dealt 80% of the damage to their armor.

Welcome to the land of idiotic Covert Ops. A place where they don’t know they give the points to the enemy they just suicided for.

Whoever did damage to him last gets the kill, others get assist iirc.

Unless they didn’t get damage in the last 10 seconds, they can selfdestruct and give 0 points to the enemy team. I’ve seen this action a lot on ECMs using stasis to make it easier.

You have to go about fifteen seconds without taking damage to suicide and not give the other side a kill.
