Scanner Prioritization

WARNING: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OPEN SPACE OR THE SPATIAL SCANNER

I suggest that there be an option or a tab somewhere called “scanner” where you can direct your scanner to only detect certain drops in loot spots after battle. For instance instead of the drops being credits 90% of the time and a random assortment of materials and premium parts and destroyer materials and monocrystals for 10% of the time, this would change the drops to credits 90% of the time (credits don’t change because apparently y’all love a ton of useless fluff drops,) and then ONLY neodium. Or 90% credits and ONLY Premium ship parts 10%. Or credits 90% of the time and ONLY monocrystals 10%.

This would allow players to focus the grind to some degree and the upside to the devs would be that it would ultimately slow the grind for total coverage of ships and items. This would work best for people who like to focus grind for one particular ship.

This would be particularly awesome because it would eliminate neodium drops from loot because I don’t hecking need them.

That would be a total no-go just because of the sheer exploit tendency of the playerbase. I know you mean it well but that will never happen.

Explain your reasoning behind this comment. I do not understand how this could be abused.

Sry about the harsh comment, reading it now seems like flipping tables lol. The thing with selecting specific loot would end up in a massive massacre/race for free materials because people that have the scanner in most cases do not require anything else than ultra rare stuff. It’s like throwing food at a bunch of hungry dogs, they will kill each other for the food rather than share. Jumping from the frying pan into the fire kinda deal. I hope i managed to explain it, it’s not about the idea itself, it’s the human factor that messes it up.

OOOHHHHH I SEE NOW no none of your comments are relevant. This has nothing to do with the spatial scanner, otherwise I would have said spatial scanner. I mean just the loot spots after battle. Xp

LoL my bad again, SORRY xD It still looks like you’re talking about spatial scanner, U might wanna edit it a bit lol xD
