I’m T2, starting to look at snagging a T3 ship, they just cost so much.
I mostly focus on interceptors and I’d like to get into command ships.

I strongly sugguest you to buy the T3 ship you wanna buy. For now they will be bought with a full pack of MK1 equipment and they will be sold at full price after next patch today. So you actually bought a new ship at a low price and you can adjust the new equipment by yourself in the next patch.
