That’s funny because that’s exactly how a LRF using it’s crappy stealth module looks to me.

I’m offended that you are posting these under ‘Ridiculous Game Suggestions’. These are 100% legitimate and balanced ideas.

A module that spawns a nyan cat to distract the enemy. ^^

Destroyed ships should drop coins.

Here have some ridiculous modules:

 

Space Nitro: Sets your ship to its maximum possible speed and acceleration but decreases all turn rates by -60% for 20 seconds, multiplies collision dmg to self by 500% and grants huge flames behind your ship that serve as an dmg aura at your six upon activation. You better not ram into something. For federals.

 

Nanite Armor Converter: Charges over time whilst draining the hitpoint periodically for providing additional all hull resists upon activation. For imperial. 

 

Archon Shield Supercharge: Drains all of your hitpoints, except the last 1 ofcourse) and adds them to amount of maximum shieldpoints for a medium duration. Furthermore your hull regen counts as shield regen and hull resists are applied to shield. All in a ratio of atleast 1/2. (2 Hull life is 1 Shield, 10 Thermal Hull resist is 5 Thermal shield etc.( Note: Maluses before calculation are applied directly, so your shield gets the original - resist values of your hull in addition to original - resists of itself). For jerrys.

 

Limited Teleportation Module: Teleports you forward where you looking at for 1000/1500/2000/2000, drains 80% of energy bar and shutdowns your own ship for 3/2/2/1 seconds. For ecm.

 

Polariser Link: Linked ship and you moves in opposite directions of normal. In addition you gain a damage aura, hurting each other if nearby and enabling fast regeneration for both the far you are. Can be used on friend and foe alike. For engineer.

 

Cacaphonic Terror Blaster: Captures the unheard deathscreams of your victims to charge up. When activated fires at target ship, screaming out loudly(mute speakers!), blurring the screen and tinting it bloodred for duration. For Gunship.

 

Abominable Intelligence Hive: This unarmed, slow and seemingly harmless yet mysteriously heavily armored drone moves around assimilating enemy drones and attaching them to itself, growing into a clusterfuck of drones over time. It even hijacks engineer repair drones to heal itself and microlocators for timed stealth detection. For guard

 

Missile Duper: Your ship gains a second missile slot in combat. Its a clone of your only one and doesnt appear in hangar, you cant equip different missile in it. Its fired and cooldowns seperate. For Tackler.

 

Holographic Projector: Creates a projection of any ship on your team that cant be distinguished from normal. Upon use you have to manually pilot this projection. The projection is a complete ‘clone’ of the vessel that doesnt deal any dmg, can use every ability it had and suffers 50% more dmg. Certain abilities can be used to graphically deceive the enemy but wont fulfill the function(like stuns, drains).  For command.

 

Cluster Nuke: Fires a Nuke missile that splits in 6 smaller warheads before impact, covering a large area. For Lrf.

 

Nyaninator 9000: Deploys a virus into target ship computer systems, causing it to see all ships as pink, with rainbow trails, everyone as friendlies and ‘nyanyanyanyanyanyan…’ engine sounds. For recon.

 

Anomalic Chaos Generator: Generates a field of wtf around your ship that twists everything of those in radius dynamic and dramatically. Every possible parameter is subject to change from weapon type and its dmg, crit values to missiles over equipped modules down until ships model itself. For the lulz. (Dafuq?!)

Destroying a ship allows you to reactivate any module on cooldown instantly. That would be nice.

A multiple choice test prior to the first match which evaluates a pilot’s intelligence and language skills. On fail, refuse to let them queue.

 

Obviously offer it in different languages, I am not discriminating against people who don’t speak English here, only those who *do* speak a language, yet don’t speak it in a manner which is at all understandable to the average educated human being.

Before you can enter T5 you need a DSR of 2k+. T6 will require 3k+.

Introduce a bouncing healing sphere. each bounce increases healing strength by 10% to shield and hull. Cooldown 10 seconds. No Cap.

Empire engineers only.

Randomize active beacon sequence in Beacon Hunt. lol that would be hilarious.

You, I like you. I replayed that game recently and remembered why it’s damned fun for a bullet hell shmup. It’s no Mars Matrix, though. Mars Matrix is freakin’ hell despite using a similar mechanic.

 

 

 

Getting back on topic:

 

  • Hot Potato : A bomb carrier is randomly chosen at start. The bomb carrier must pass his bomb (reverse capture) to an enemy ship within a set amount of time or be destroyed. Bomb carriers that are unable to pass their bomb explode in a similar manner to an interceptor with the suicide module, and a new bomb spawns on another ship on the unfortunate bomb carrier’s team. The team with the least bombs carried wins.

Before you can enter T5 you need a DSR of 2k+. T6 will require 3k+.
