I’d like to be able to cancel this kind of nonsense assignment, but it would be even better if it was removed altogether.
I agree there, many of these missions are super hard and alone even as end-game player undoable, the hardest version of these is escorting the transport in Vanguard Outpost, if not removing them, make them at least optional and increase the reward for missions of that difficulty level.
+1 for getting rid of these missions. If they need something to get from point A to point B they can hire a squad of bounty hunters.

You can cancel one mission a day. It was never a problem for me. Just cancel it and get a new one.
The one in the screenshots in Terramorphing Station was un-cancelable the 1st day and the 2nd lapsed day of it being on my map.
I completed it by burrowing my recon into a crevice of the Orange Giant gate while I watched an episode of Hannibal. I came back, and it was completed. That’s not really satisfactory for gaming. I’d still rather not have the impossible indefinite alien swarm escort missions. If I cancel it, I’d like to still do the same amount of dailies or more.
Terramorphing Station is protection zone where you won’t get ganked for being afk. Collapsed Laboratory is not, so doing it afk isn’t always an option.
I like open space, the dailies, and the synergy. So if we eliminate escort missions, I hope we’ll get something else instead of 1 less daily.
@Eviscerador - There are two exactly same missions (daily and side mission - blue one).
I dont have anything against escort missions but these in Vanguard Outpost are just too hard even for two or three players. Transport is passing by several predators and couple of cartel squads. Only the transport path should be changed.

Don’t forget to mention, for just 2 (3) Monocrystals, but since this mission is solo undoable you can not get them.
I would already be pleased if Aliens wouldn’t be that ret@rded and just ignore you to focus the transport which is unable to widstand this attacks for few seconds, but to make these Missions fair to everybody these Missions should become optional and maybe join a sort of “Squad Missions”, maybe bring “Squad Missions/Dailies” to open world with a bigger reward for all squad members, but which are so hard that they are only doable in squads. Or simply make the Transport having 1 billion hull pts, would be fine too. (:

Nah, i prefer waiting 1 more day to do another mission, i wont waste half an hour for several pilots just to get 3 monocrystals.
