Reactor Overload functionality change

As stated across the forums and in the game, the Reactor Overload module, previously dubbed “Self-Destruct,” is one of, if not the, most pointless modules in the game. The new functionality makes it slightly more useful, especially for uncloaking nearby enemies, but it still doesn’t seem like it should fit in to, and subsequently waste, an Active Module slot.

I propose to change it to a CovOps class passive module. I have layed out what it should be below:

Name: Suicide Modification

Type: CovOps Passive Capacitor Module

Ranks: 5-15

Tooltip: “Upon your hull being breached, your reactor will be detonated causing a massive explosion inside your ship. Because the debris left behind is radioactive, all enemies caught in the field will slowly take thermal damage for 5 seconds.”

<small>Because “Covert Operations” usually have classified data, destroying your wreckage after it becoming useless makes sense. Just thinking out loud.</small>

There is no need to spam the same suggestion over and over again.

Don’t come with the title wouldn’t fit anymore, simply change the post in it. It was passive Bonus now a module, as module it would be even more of a waste. Covert Ops is strong enough and it doesn’t need any kind of buff in that way, simply give the Reactor Overload more use… don’t make it a die only module, Reactor Overload could also massively boost all aspects for a short duration, like the Overdrive just as active module for all ships… Or something…
