Anywho, the black hole in a beacon match with it having the damage others option is a no-go, even if you nerf it to damage one’s self and, furthermore, your teammates.
I’d be perfectly fine with only having damage at the center, and removing the other area damage though. Because destroyers get sucked in relatively easily, so that shouldn’t be much of a problem for other ships. I propose a change as such:
Change maximum suck speed to 190m/s (haven’t seen any ship slower than that), and make it where only the event horizon will deal damage (but still the massive destroy-all damage).

I have better solution. Take ECM. Fly to the destroyer as close as possible. Wait till it will activate grav lens. System hack. Fly away and look at the poor destroyer exploding. Laugh.
Placing a hole next to non-fed frig certain it’s death. There is no indicator where it is. Damage objects through walls. Bypass shield entirely. Compared to other modules its crazy unbalanced.
ik ik, it’s a miracle, altough controversial to the fact that i flew long range ECM support as secondary all the way back in the first ICC
(i just don’t like the damage they deal, but i’ll get the higher tiers sometime soon and see how they feel)

ah, forgot to add that, it’s a whole different world with a squad around - otherwise not as effective, ECMs are pretty crap now that 4 man squads are out, even crappier with their dps

Hahaha yeah, before I didn’t have any1 to squad up with, when I finnaly got into some good corps with good players & awsome ppl the removed squads
I have A Nod A as my most leveled ship at the moment this module makes it next to useless. Even upon activation a turn and burn is not fast enough on most occasions to avoid being destroyed. The damage through shield bypasses an entire factions available tank and even the slower empire recons can have some serious trouble with it.
Things that wont solve this modules nonesense.
Self damage - Does nothing to stop players who know how to use it. Self damaging entity 3k+ away from my dess does not concern me. Idiots on my own team who spam it do.
Have an ECM - LOL. Team battle enemy team has 2 dess and 4 ECM. Ok ill be 5 ECM all by myself then then we can play Star Holestealer.
Have command missles - Ok so im to focus 1 player and 1 only the entire match in a specific ship waiting for the purple indicator of bs. This is the problem with dess. They make themselves felt on the map no matter how bad the player who is flying it is.
Things that would help.
I’d remove the shield/diffusion bypass.
The persistance of the module needs reduction as it makes beacon hunt a nightmare with games being won over a 1sec cap.
An AOE snap type effect that drags ships into the center and damages as before. But does not linger around for a long time.
Even longer cooldown.
Or just remove the dam thing, delete it entirely and we wont talk about it again. Like a bad dream or a creepy uncle.
This hole kinda remindes me of first destructor. That thing was way to OP. Then there was that scater covert ops BS where u could just dominate the match from safe distance… Silent nuke with that add range of explosion… Ah every few months there is a new unbalanced OP s*** in the game.
