Also don’t you think that spiting on someone on their own forum can be considered rude?

It is, but sadly it is the norm lately.
Meh, it’s not like you’re being invited into somebody’s home and than decide to take a dump on their dinner table. It’s a open forum (open to a certain extent ofcourse), so you will always have some (potentially justified) negativity.
Remember also the days when the english community got pretty much completely ignored and had to deal with dev responses like just a ‘‘NO’’ and other replies which could be considered ‘‘rude’’.

Sorry for the last post, forum bug and I couldn’t suppress the quote for no reasons. Also this editor is really xxxx because we can’t have access to the source.
I miss the old editor, messing around with quotes and just being able to make your post more organized was so much simpler with the old editor imo.

I stand corrected. Shame on me for only reading every line of the patch notes, and only watching 24 minutes of the stream. Next time I’ll be sure to sit riveted to my screen to catch every second of “Um, uhhh, here’s the ship…” until a critically important detail is mentioned. That’ll teach me to use my time for anything other than combing through rambling dev streams.
Seriously though. The fact that such a key detail existed nowhere else, except for a 10 second mention buried in a 40 minute stream, speaks volumes about the capabilities of the devs to communicate with their players.
Aside from the somewhat aggressive undertone of this post, Fyhlen does make a solid point with his last sentence.
Other people have said it before, i myself have said it before and i’ll say it again. If the devs would communicate better and handle giving information to the players better, a lot of this negativity among players would not even be here imo.

All needed resources will be available during event missions. And for now there’ll be tasks for 5 days available. It means that you can complete 5 tasks in 1 day, and miss one or 2 days without any lost rewards)
As a example look at this quote from the first page of this thread. I wont call it a flat out lie, but Cin was definitely quite liberal and vague with his choice of words with this post, if you consider that now in the patch 1.3.13 discussion thread Cin does mention needing the Gage tasks on top of the event tasks to get enough Jericho activators all of a sudden.
Add on the fact that in the patch notes how to get activators is written down in a quite vague manner (imo) as ‘’ completing UMC tasks ‘’, UMC tasks is quite a broad term. There is nothing mentioned about sending a R11 destroyer out on Gage destroyers giving activators (i know there is a seperate thread on it now, but at the time of the patch release there was nothing on it).
Information would be way better received if Cin/the devs from the start just stated the information as;
‘‘You can now acquire Jericho destroyer activators by doing event tasks, sending out a R11 destroyer on Gage tasks and through buying bundles’’.
A bit more nicely written and organized ofcourse, but a sentence like that is concise and you’ll get all the information needed about how to acquire the new resource.
