Problem

anyone who had this issue and solved it, please PM me.

I am getting this error message “Cannon connect to Servers”

I would look over at the beta forums, unfortunately, i do not have access yet, waiting for them to update that for me.

I also updated my router with the ports and I still periodically get limited network, I’m hoping that this is just the issue, but i’m getting no where

Thanks!

No one else has had this problem? :(. I was hoping someone could help me until I got onto the beta forums. I can’t even play the game until I can get this “Cannot connect to servers” problem cleared…

Ok, so, I didn’t post a picture of my error message in the public forums because of NDA, I was hoping that I’d get a message and I’m glad I now have access to the beta forums. Here is a screen shot of my error message (btw, it didn’t matter what I had in the boxes for ID and PW) :

I also found these files. I do hope they help.

Why on one pc the client CAN communicate with the servers, but on my main computer, the client CAN’T communicate, I don’t know if I’ve thought of it all, I’ve altered the computer’s firewalls, acceptions, and UAC, what the HELL, I want to play on my main pc, lmfao.

never saw this =/

Yeah, if it weren’t for school, I would have re-installed windows and then the game just to see if that fixed my socket issue, the game can’t communicate, weird also is that the con-tester functions just fine as well.

This is my Game.log file

As you can see, there is an ERROR with NetSocket::Connect failed with error '10022’

Which is a WSAEINVAL error, ugh. HEEEEEELP MEEEEE

check your firewall or router =/

check your firewall or router =/

Worse part is I have, and I’ve check Network = OK and still added the port numbers. Also, I pinged the IP found in that file and there was a new con-test file I found and that also ran just fine. I’m getting to the point of wondering if something broke in my OS to report a NetSocket error 10022 which is WSAEINVAL, meaning that the socket that the game client is trying to send isn’t listening? Which is weird, only game not working or connecting is Star-Conflict, so until I decide to re-format, back to Firefall, lmao, which is a pretty great game, another beta, World of Warplanes

I will eventually format if the Dev’s can’t come to a solution, because I’ve exhausted all my options from UAC to Win Def AND Win Firewall, I have no AVG (don’t get any ideas), and MSCONFIG

try to update the .NetFramework

I have all of 4 installed… -sigh-

EDIT: I’ll try a second repair and then a re-installation and see if that helps.

It seems that some have fixed the issue either by re-installed windows 7 or by upgrading it. Since upgrading isn’t an option for me, I’ll attempt a restore, if not, then I’ll re-install windows, hope it works after that.

surely will, good luck

Well, that was unintended… the freaking re-install of windows was a fail, :frowning: wtf

Well, that was unintended… the freaking re-install of windows was a fail, :frowning: wtf

That are some bad news.

so… it could be soem problem with your router =/

Nope, it did turn out to be an issue with my alienware laptop, I still haven’t narrowed the problem down yet, but I also have installed all my drivers yet.

My Wireless BFN 1003 drivers still haven’t been installed.

So, at the moment, I can ACTUALLY PLAY YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Problem solved… I MEAN IT ISN’T, but it is. My Bigfoot Networks Killer wireless-N 1103 a/g/n 3x3 MIMO driver is responsible for the NetSocket 10022 error I’ve been getting.

I have no idea how to resolve this which will restrict me to wired connection. If doing a system restore to prior my installation of the wireless connection, haha. Hopefully I can find a work around.

So Error

I would take this and report it to the Devs

NetSocket error 10022 is a confliction with:

= Bigfoot Networks Killer wireless-N 1103 a/g/n 3x3 MIMO driver/application

Their website can be found here for their wireless hardware here: http://www.killergaming.com/

so that you can download their drivers and whatnot in hope to resolve this confliction.

Thank you for your help. We will forward this to the devs. Hope you will enjoy the game.

Oh I am, oh I am. There are a few things I want to report on, but I will wait until I see the control setting screens and whatnot.
