And when im screaming at the devs to increase the GS to FREE SYNERGY RATIO, they LOWER IT!
IM like TELLING YOU THAT I WANT TO THROW MONEY AT YOU! and you REFUSE ME!
Is funny, because I were thinking seriously to pay to unlock the accumulated synergy of my Elite ships and use it to full my LRFs (that I hate), but with a 1/100 ratios, it isn’t worth, it’s too expensive, and I prefer using that GS to purchase T1 premium ships to get +9% Fleet Strenght (synergy bonus).

I have 30K GS sitting there. But I refuse to spend a DIME of it on anything that is unreasonable.

How are you going to transfer all that accumlated excess synergy ? It is insane to have to pay to transfer all that. In my case it going to cost me close to 65,000 GS to transfer what I have.
When players says they would pay for something, they won’t do it directly because a few people say they’ll pay. Instead they’ll estimate how much it’ll cost to develop it and see if there would be enough players for this development to be viable. Often dev only do those things when it’s sure at 200% that it’ll be viable.
With my usual Corp mates when we have 3-4 of us all with level 6 (highest) ships we are going to find ourselves in going level 10 with a squad of 3… and level 11 with 4.
Yesterday I jumped into a squad from a different Corp. With the same level 6 ships and a squad of 3 were were in Level 5-9 queues. I’m like what the heck … Only thing different in the equation was the SKILL rating.
So Skill rating must have a pretty hefty weight in the MM calculating formula.
on another note… it cost 20 MILLION in credits and a insame amount of artifacts equip a frigging Level 15 T-REX with all its modules to Blue and Purple… jeez that is only one ship…

Cost of development… nothing. Or next to nothing. It’s changing a few variables in pre-existing code. A competent programmer could do it on his lunch break.
When the entire community says that its better to have it as a reasonable price of 1 GS to 500 Free Synergy,
But you did say increase GS cost =P
Anyway, 500 is way too much. 250 is just fine. You say 500 because you, like many other pilots, already have a few million points stockpiled. But you have to think of both extremes.

I don’t think you quite understand how this “job” thing works…
I am well aware how this job works. However, I seriously doubt they pay their programmers per task. Far more likely they are paid a wage, and are given jobs to do.
This particular job - the job of setting the Synergy conversion ratio to something simple, does not require any significant change to the system. All it takes is changing variables. It would actually take longer to recompile the code than it would to make the changes.

Yet you’re suggesting that people should work during their lunches.
In fact, as I understand it good coding procedure would mean that this wouldn’t be a job of programmer in the first place, but that of designer. Programmer’s job would be to provide a reasonably usable interface for designer to change values such as synergy conversion. And it most certainly would not require recompiling the executable. That would be just bad design.
I had a lengthy conversation in the english global chat last night about the poll and what it means to the game. At least 5 ppl in channel at the time of the about 8 or so involved in the convo said they had voted and picked option one without reading any of the options just to get the reward. After the conversation, every single one of them said they wished there was an option to change their vote.
The question is, what you did tell them theodrak ? Because this kind of person is easily manipulated according to what side you show them. I’m sure if I talked to them only telling them my point of view, there would be even more people for mixed tiers.
