Please end these nuke spam , put back FF

It would have been so easy to implement negative points for teamkilling , but NO you just removed FF and what we got now? The one with the most nukes wins and this is totally BS .

 

If somebody says "take AMS " , how many guard frigs should be played?

 

The Nuke was supposed a tactical option which had to be handled carefully. Now its a omni-missle like a thermal unguided missle .

 

Im not crying easily , with some things of last patches i was not happy but the game stayed fun playable ,at least for me and for many others. But this nuke spamming now is totally pissing me off and causing an unbalance which is not good at all.

 

Why now should anybody take a ship without a hvy missle slot? F.u.c.k. diversity when i can easily win without any negative effects !

 

Or should this be the solution to the engi problem of healing? Well , problem solved ! GJ

 

Or may be the solution to the problem of Long Range not effective enough? Woohoo , now whats left after nuke spam can easily be one shotted by them , and there are still their friends left to block the way to them! Problem solved , GJ

 

Now close-quarter-combat ends in “woooohoooo there are a bunch of idiots ganging up and hey my teammates it wont hurt”. Focus fire? For what? Pull out the nukes !

 

Where is the drawback of the nuke now?

 

Either put FF back in or remove the nuke !

 

 

PS: And thx for giving the haters fodder. I allready can hear them “We told you T3+ is unbalnced” -.-

Friendly Fire from “NUKES” should be put back in the game. I think this was an unintended change with the nukes but i guess now they are not tactical nukes. its funny to see beacon hunt mode just become Nukem hunt mode.

No , FF should be put back , why give mindless gamestyle a freeticket ?

 

If i drop a nuke , shoot a torp , missaim a desintrigator shot which all deal tremendous dmg i have to live with misstakes and get punished !

 

If i cant fly my vessel properly and ramming all the way to the front , thats not good flying and shouldnt be without harm.

 

If i ramm the beacon while capturing , i did a misstake and this should have a bad result!

 

Without FF there is no reason to improve “skill” in flying , aiming and teamplay .

T3 is unblanced Gaunt… But we will speak about that later.

 

 

Spam Nuke just make T3 more xxxx.

 

Beacon Hunt became Beacon Nuke.

Domination became Nukemination.

Recon Combat became Tactical MultiNuke suicide Combat.

 

What’s next? Detonation : No more EMP BOMB needed; spam nuke is enough to destroy the station.

I hope devs will read all our comments about this mistake they made.

 

Guard are actually broken cause of the spam nuke (or we have to full take Thermal resist and only use EM resist with the phase shield with a perma active missile shield?)

1 : Agreed (i said the same in the patchnote post) Nuke = braindead weaponz

 

2 : They didn’t sell a lot of “Strong”, they need to boost it a little more (stupid patch = stupid anwser)

 

3 : Nice try but no… Fed’s engi gonna be blow up by nuke (or take a good amount of dammages), not the emp’s engi. 

 

The devs really think that a nuclear bomb without damage to allies enough to offset a frigate with six guns, two drones fighting, constant buffs, and a system of remote shield completely broken?

And in some cases as a guard tanky. And what is more, to be protected like a f–king treasure for its usefulness?

 

4 : Some sniper frigates are correct. Especially empires, the disintegrator is correct damage, has good range, can not be stopped by physical barriers and has a short cooldown (3 sec).

They are not resistant (and still is the empire so it is not too bad)

The modules allow for more shots when they are activated.

 

Basically the exact opposite of Jerichos. 16 seconds per shot, we lost more time with the control of the torpedo. The anti missile shields, decoys and obstacles stop us. 300 m radius of the explosion when the cruise missile has 200 nuclear bomb 1000m. Ruthless logic know when it’s the special module.

But to go with the Sub-Forum headline :

Sugestion : I suggest either a Comeback of FF or a seperate mode with full FF.

Sounds like a good attempt

Reason: The removal of FF is a total … there are so many words in my mind to describe it , but each of them are not polite.

It was a short sighted decission to remove it , the consequences are so … see above.

The reason it was removed is that many players did not like it, my self including. I dont really mind, that enemies kill me - I simply did something wrong(bad positioning, caught ofguard, trusted on pub teammate, etc.). What I do mind is that teammate kill me.

Includ a -% reward (to pay the reparation of the tk-ed player / XP punishement) at the end of the game for TK is better than a ban. Players will not understand this logic and leave the game, but if you want to learn them how use this weapon they will probably do some mistakes before use it correctly and everybody do mistakes. 

Like this Player who TK will be punished, and the player who has been TK will be not penalize by the cost of reparation. Complete with a report option “Voluntary tk” for trollz and Co. and it should be fine.

Yes. Please take the FF absense back. 

T3 just got unbearabe annoying. We have Frig-Wars already and now its just nuking the crap out of each other.

Actually there is even less skilled flying now. Its just drop the bomb. 

Please take that “update” back. 

Another alternative variety of solution is:

-Half blast radius and power of nuke (just like have jerico torpedo self caried by ship)

-Reduce coldown of missile shield

-Put a visual icon of a nuke or a message (if you can hear becouse the computer of ship generete sound why not put a messege?)

-Remove nukes

-Increse price of nuke 3 time

 

There are so many alternative if the patch is to avoid the ff fire and in this nukes is the most problematic here solution to have both resolved.

For the problem of too many frigates that would be enough to change the interface entry into battle and a change in the prices of repair.
Let me explain.

If instead of having the icons of the ships could use those roles as seen in battle would immediately create a more diverse group.
To avoid having too many same roles using a modifier visible in the choice that tells you type:
If you use this role you pay 20% more in repairs
If not:
If you take this role and the reward of 100% instead of 150%
in this way the premium ship are in.
If most people take the same role less there reward.
Of course if good to add 10 seconds and who logs later in is spared from this.

The base are two roles beyond that begins the penal.

 

With icon change and reward or price change are more immediate to all take diverse group.

Special tips against Guard : For fighter and other Frigs ----> Torpedo (Missile slot) EM DMG 300M radius 8k range
