Add in 4 man squads again and I like this idea.
this + return of permanent Decal/sticker option.

KEEP the 3 man squads!
And whatever about the Jericho LRF they have been UNDERpowered for along time it’s about time they got a buff.
We’re overhauling several systems in our next updates. Squad matchmaking and PvP/E being one of them.

You aren’t doing anything bud.

In a metaphorical fashion. Of course we can’t edit the code.
We?

You may be asking who exactly are on the team. Well, I’m pleased to say that it’ll be me ( OldSpice , formerly Sabre01), JasanQuinn , FunkyBacon , Oryngton and Astraal pitching in to help bring these patches to you.
I speak on behalf of the team.
Also, you should add into your “update” that you have to have played at least 50 games in the past week to even post on the forum. Would make it way more balanced.
I really want the Dragonfly. A lot. I refuse to pay for a lackluster product however.
I’d say Katana S is loads better than the Dragonfly at max synergy, compared the 2 unfitted.
- Plasma Web doesn’t require LOS right now for activation or keeping it up. The mod seems fine to me as it is
Are you sure it doesn’t need LOS? Last time I flew CO was in 8.5 but there it did need LOS ot activate the plasma web.

Since I am having too much fun in T2 shenanigans and avoiding T3 simply for the sake of not burning through the game too fast (I’m practicing some mythical concept called moderation, whatever the hell that is), may I please have the statistical data involving the two ships with Katana S at full synergy? To be frank, I mostly want the Dragonfly for its cosmetic sexiness, but also for that added passive slot. Although minimal at best, I can see much of an effect the ship’s passive ability would hold in game play; Aegis being somewhat less of a burden while using afterburners, and Shield Booster not being too taxing on energy reserves before activating Diffusion Shield_. Numbers are numbers though, and I’d at least like to make an informed decision before I go full xxxx and impulse buy. _Why can’t I just buy the ship itself? WHY WON’T YOU LET ME THROW MY WALLET AT YOU, STAR GEM?!

Katana type S is 10% faster and unlocks a rank 12 ship whereas Dragonfly has +1 passives in addition to the ship bonus but leads you nowhere. Take your pick.

Yes, he’s right, you don’t need line of sight for it anymore.
10% you say? Thank you for the info.
Diffusion shield is a tanking buff, not an invulnerability, you remain vulnerable to everything the enemy can throw at you but are tanking with your energy in addition to shields and hull. Nothing that needs to get nerfed here. If a slow command (that has an additional slow debuff from the bomb) made it through your team and still has energy left for diffusion shield tanking you deserve to lose a station.
Generally agree with most of the stuff that’s up there on the first post. Not too sure about the LRF torpedo… between premature detonation and inability to steer, I personally prefer the latter. Having hit points is an interesting concept as well.
Nerfing guided torp’s rate of fire could be an option. Came out of a game where I thought a nuke detonated and killed a bunch of interceptors by a beacon. Turned out to be an LRF guided missile lol.
I can imagine three of them taking turns at the active beacon in hunt mode would render it unplayable. I blame the game mode but still…
Is friendly fire on?
I’m not sure but I have a gut feeling there’s no friendly fire (but self fire exists).
Everyone but Jericho’s gotten buffs recently. Jericho LRF needed a buf more than any other ship. After I finish leveling to R12, I’ll have to see how bad my T2 Templar will die in T3.
Coil mortars, mines, shield resist, shield heal, overcharge. Fly in and use your six turrets. Use the guided torpedo sparingly. Mine the beacons. Suicide when mobbed by intys by detonating your torpedo point blank.

As long as they’ve put a debuff or a single point of damage on you before you do it it still counts as a kill for them so there’s no point. Try to take out as many as you can instead.
And the guy rushing in combat recon going for a captain kill is probably going to die, but if the captain’s dead it’s worth it. Getting a kill, or at least doing some massive damage to a priority ship before dieing still counts for something.

A point blank detonation is fatal for any intys that came too close as well. I’ve gotten multiple kills from a single point blank detonation (I didn’t even know why they needed to mob me when I’m flying an LRF).

Haha nice, in particular considering they needed to be within 300m to get hit by the torpedo, i.e. much closer than a mine-field would hit them, and not have emergency barriers fitted.

Other than mines, those just mean other frigates got nerfed more than Jericho LRF’s, not that Jericho LRF’s got a buff. As for overcharge, increased maneuverability helps more than damage. I’ve noticed Jericho LRF’s being a threat now, not a risk. They’re mainly targeting beacons and bomb carriers, not random ships like an emp LRF. An empire LRF is still better for random ships. Spam is a slight issue, but it will sort itself out.

Maybe my Jericho LRFs tended to be so close to the frontline, I prize damage over torpedo speed.
Just bought a new ship. Time to grind again.
