Plasma and Blaster turret adjustment

Rather than being turrets themselves, instead have them be a control center for emitters placed all over the ship, giving them 100% coverage around the destroyer.

You already sacrifice a good deal of long range firepower and utility by choosing these, this would just make them a bit more reliable but still situational.

 

Right now they’re kinda sluggish and janky, they fire when not even facing the target, they stop tracking a target when it leaves the coverage which makes re-acquisition slow, and they have a visual bug where they only fire from one barrel which is slightly maddening if you have OCD :stuck_out_tongue:

360 fire angle for 50% movement slow projectiles? No thanks. It’s bad enough, how it is.

yea, its bad enough that it can hit you and instantly slow you to 50% on “180” degrees, at that point you may as well just give destroyers an AOE aura that just slows anything within 2km to 50%

Do you think it would be acceptable if the projectile speed of the blaster was significantly reduced to allow evasion, or the slow effect reduced or cumulative instead of instant? (Like stacking 2.5% speed reduction per hit with max of 50%)
