Anyway, any good RTS set in the future and not eating too much memory? Or should i return to Homeworld 2 or Nexus? (tho i beat nexus inside out already)
SoaSE… xxxx, just search mine & funky’s list, I’m sure you’ll find some… I can’t remember any, right now…
They are coming with a GalCiv 3! Announced it some short time ago.
Nice list though, several of those look quite interesting, played quite a few of them in your list as well
though some of their prices…Then again ~yarr~
PS: It seems you got too much money with such a large game list xD
Yeah, I got most, if not all, my games from steam summer/winter sales. So, at most, I paid 50% of the game’s worth, always. Oh, except Borderlands 2, that I paid full price. And maybe SoaSE: Rebellion…
If you plan to play Sins, you better be ready to sit there a loooong time.
If you plan to buy a 3DS and Pokemon, you also should be ready to sit there a long time, because, if you’re anything like me, you’ll discover the Pokemon-Amie and will forever pet, feed, and play with your pokemon and suddenly they’ll be Lv 40 before you get your second badge and you’ll wonder where you went wrong the past 10 hours…
And then you’ll find out that sometimes people put GOOD pokemon in the wonder trade, and you’ll get stuck sending pokemon off for that one as well.
And then you’ll get lost in Loumios City, or however you spell that.
…
You could always try Disgaea? Oh, for a single player game, I thought Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption was fun. If you have a Wii or PS2 [or emulate] and friends that you hate, you can play Dokapon Kingdom [a cross between mario party, sonic shuffle, and an rpg]. If you play multiplayer story mode in that, you might get stuck playing for around 2 months, depending on how many times you meet up in the week.

Ohhh Dokapon Kingdom, a great “friendship-killer”… Don’t play it under the influence of alcohol, trust me
Round based / Civ Genre: Civ5 or Endless Space. Both also fun in multiplayer. I have to say, Endless is in fact better, until now nothing could impress me more in the genre, since I play Civ now for over 20 years (it was my first computer game), and always liked Civs more than its competitors (except Sid’s Alpha Centauri Alien Crossfire back then), like GalCiv and co. We are currently all hooked on Endless Space.
I also have to say, except the cool “autorejoin” feature in civ5, if civ4 does not desync, its a bit more fun in competitive mode, than number 5.
I bought it on steam sale at patch day ^^
Strategy: StarCraft2. Coz it’s not just a cool RTS, it’s also full of cool user created games in the Arcade. E.g. my favourite Moba, the arcade map “Star Battle”. Got a lot of friends who only bought SC2 for that map. Sins of a Solar Empire is also a nice game.
There is also a massive time consuming space game in SC2 arcade from one of these russian map maker geniuses called “Final Frontier”, which is quite fun if you find people who sacrifice hours and hours of building and designing new spaceships. It has almost everything you desire from a RTS space game like randomized planets and freestyle techs and spaceship designs.
Also, there is a rts version of civ in the sc2 arcade.
Atm. I am also waiting hot for “Space Engineers” release on steam. Which would be a sandbox game.
Does anyone play Gratuitous Space Battles? It’s an indie game that’s been out for quite some time already. Essentially, it’s a strategy game where you customize a fleet of spaceships, give them orders, and send them off to face the enemy fleet. You pretty much have zero control over what happens once you launch the battle. (There’s an option for real-time orders, but then again you are merely programming the AI and letting the fleet do its work.)
I did. But I never really cared to buy the full version, even if it became one of the nicest things to play if I have no internets.
Btw. endless space is pretty similar in style of battles (you only watch, but you can modify some orders in phases). Actually that kinda explains our addiction to it, since the others love Gratutious Space Battles, too.
Another game in this sector is gimbal (alpha, 2d, c# unfortunately, but still fun and cheap) and battleships forever (free).
Knock yourself out. Most (roughly 60-70%) of those are actually enjoyable to play. If they have zero hours, I’ve either played the hell out of them before or I haven’t had the chance to get to them.
Holy xxxx, for a moment I thought I was looking at my games list
Here you have mine, add the Blizzard games (SC2, Diablo3, WoW) and World of tanks. Plenty of space RTS, 4X and sim games. All of them are fun.
I have been playing Eve for almost two years now. The hours in steam are just from the oddisey patch, when I installed it on steam.
I stopped playing EvE in the last patch. It lost all the fun for me, for some reason… I’ve done everything in it, so there was nothing left for me to do… And I got bored of it… Played it for 7 years straight, too.
I believe I have been playing EVE for 3 years now, several breaks(Some wanted, most not, but no money) and am waiting to get my full income then I will buy a 2nd character(from character bazaar) and start to actively PVP/PVE once more instead of sitting in amarr station training \o/

and 7 years is a nice time I’d say
My toon is currently in Curse, but I think my corp moved away to Gallente Space one more time. Someday I will activate it again and get off there to visit Caldari space, farm a bit in my tengu or CNR, and go back to Syndicate to roam in a covops/inty. With the new patch intys are being buffed, so they will be fun for playing. Epic 2500 scan res build for catching the new intys!!

Never do that unless you know the pilot. I made that mistake, once. Worst experience in EvE I’ve ever had.

Mine are scattered throughout New Eden. I had one with clones in 5 null stations (People have a love/hate relationship with that one, they love the fights, but hate it when I get away or killed them, I had a 7.0 average on that char), 2 traders/JFs, a WH jumper, an SC (I could fly Aeons or Wyverns or even Revenants if I had my hands on them) and a few others I picked up and dropped for cash. Full T3 with T2 capable gear sell like paper. Grand total, I must’ve had roughly 50 characters go through my hands… On my last months in EvE, I had 2 active accounts, though.
