Well, since after two or three patches now it hasn’t been aded, I figured I might as well make a thread about it. There NEEDS to be a way to toggle the pop-up notifications of your score for a kill to return to the old way where it only showed in the bottom right corner. The new display is crazy annoying, especially in PvE when you kill 40 things at once and your whole screen is littered with Enemy Destroyed notifications for 30 seconds.

 

Just add an option to turn it back to displaying only in the right hand corner. That’s all.

Well, since this wasn’t added back in in yet another patch, I’ll say it again.

THIS NEEDS TO BE AN OPTION. THERE NEEDS TO BE A WAY TO DISABLE THE SCORING DISPLAY ALL OVER MY SCREEN. I CAN’T SEE WHAT I’M DOING WHEN MY SCREEN IS FILLED WITH 30 SIMULTANEOUS NOTIFICATIONS THAT TAKE 20 SECONDS TO FLY AWAY TO THE CORNER THEY BELONG IN.

the new system is terrible for competitive PVP play and also for casual play in PVE

 

we just need a tick box in settings to revert it…

So, since the developer questions thread said that this is not currently planned, let me tell you this: IT NEEDS TO BE PLANNED. I DONT WANT WORDS FLOATING ALL OVER MY SCREEN SO I CANT SEE WHERE TO TARGET. IT NEEDS TO HAVE AN OPTION TO BE DISABLED. THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TO ADD THIS.
