I’ve formulated a brilliant plan to get some basic level of advertisement out there! Create an official merchandise market and turn your players in to walking billboards!
NASA has been talking about this the other night! Here are our two cents:
I’d pay for limited-edition 3D-printed models of some of the ships in this game. Team Fortress 2 has official Gaming Head statues, along with a lot of other games. If the publisher decides to start producing models, I think many people will buy them to put around their room.
I’d also kill for some epic HD posters. Frame that shxt up in my living room and it’ll be a fantastic conversation starter.
Here’s the site for the models. Maybe the publishers can get in contact with these guys and start limited runs?

To run mech store profitable, game need to have many fans. TF2, Warframe or Elite Dangerous had millions of players during the years so they can. I doubt for SC.
We’ve discussed it before, but SC could operate a player-run merch store. For example we buy the 3D models but get them printed ourselves, or we buy the T-shirt designs but print them ourselves. Even posters and coffee mugs could by sold using this principle.
