I was going off of the regular GS prices.

And Elite pilot DLC is $40 US.

And Elite pilot DLC is $40 US.

via russian site $30 US

$30,6 when I checked during sale

There is no sale on dlc’s atm , and if you go store with Russian language elite pilot 37.49 rub.  that makes 63.9 dollars atm.

İf you choose English like me you pay 79.99 ,

really?  REALLY?  REALLY!!

This is unacceptable , I buy 2 dlc and some golds before and now i fell stupid.Maybe I’m really …but 1 thing is clear you are fraud gaijin, no trust no respect no more money to you. end of story…

DirkDecent and JasanQuinn, purpose of this sale is evident.

This sale’s goal is to get more money from people. On the other hand, this can help already established veterans. Main problem is, that we have NO RESTRICTIONS for premium ships.

I completely agree, that the requirement for premium ships should not be unlocked from the start. Any fresh player can begin playing T5 immediately, which is wrong.

Most likely this has been changed since you started playing, but we cannot buy a premium more than 2 ranks above what we already have. Yes, we can buy multiple premiums to reach T5, but it’s not like they can buy a one right away.

I bought a dlc just 2 days ago at 50% on steam… Next time hurry up when they announce a sale.

Honestly, the only time you should spend money on this game is during sales/events. I’ve never had to pay full price for anything DLC or Prem related in the entire year I’ve played.

I’ve either gotten GS from DLC discounts or other events.

Got my 6 months of prem when it was on a steep discount.

I just bought a slew of T5 prems on the massively discounted New Year’s sale.

All in all, I’ve safely averaged 50% discounts whenever making purchases. Sure, I’ve sunk probably $150+ on this game, but if I were to have paid full price, it would be to the tune of $350 or even $400.

If you’re around for long enough, the sales will come and that’s when sinking money into this game feels worthwhile.

If you miss a sale/event, well, sucks to be you. Either wait around till next sail or suck it up and pay the steep standard price.

For me it’s pretty simple. I will wait for exactly the same sale and I’ll be ready for it next time.

I have calculated everything to the last cent. 2015 GS x 8 T5 premiums =16120 GS, which is around 42 EUR.

A good price to support the development, even if I don’t need those premium ships.

If the sale will not be the same, I’ll simply ignore it.

I can wait for another year, if I have to.

I got no problem, since I am a patient man, when it comes to sales.

It’s pretty much clear, if such sale doesn’t ever happen again, I simply won’t invest anything anymore into this game to support the developers or rather Gaijin, who knows.

I have never been flooded so much with premium ship spam notifications, than on the day, when this sale was active.

Only a lunatic would abort such sale, since it lasted way less, than 1 day and it was not even announced on the forums and on Steam news as well.

That screen is pretty misleading too - it implies that it lasted all of New Year’s Day, which I am certain it didn’t…

I’ll just leave this here. Some player in T5 got mad at me for not carrying him to victory while he sat at the bottom of the scoreboard. And this is why.

Not even 200 games and acting all surprised his gold ships don’t carry him to victory.

Yeah, I have been accused of cheating many times, since I got decent knowledge about the game. I would rather have restrictions for the players, when they want to buy premium ships, so they can’t start with T5 right away, first premium.

When it comes the other way around, we also need them, because they invest into this game. They can still learn how to play properly later, but the problem is, they will not want to start from the basics, at least from T3, but only T5.

Now you got 2 lesser evils. However, this issue is easily fixed. If we lock premiums, until certain rank or stats have been reached, at least people would play consistently. It’s not that hard to do.
