Russian players don’t even come to this forum, they have one of their own, while Mecromancer went door to door to known NA corporations that were considering dreads, and asked soem of them to vote. So we are confident that at least majority of voters were in fact from NA or rather those that play in our times.
37 players voting are by no means a majority. This pole was made at the same time the forums implemented the you have to play 2 games before you can post rule. This pole was screwed from they very beginning because most players could not vote!!! It took me 2 weeks, a support ticket, and about 5 e-mails before I could post to the forums. In addition to this the time that was given was one hour later than the time voted for.
So leave the flaming Artic out of it a maybe we can come up with a better solution to starting a game that can go on for an hour and a half at 10 pm

I think we should have all of Fed space become NA accessible again. Like in the old days. That was best. Just a minor tweak in the times, but two times split over 2 zones of Fed space.

okay so move some of it back an hour and a half. Does anyone have any objections? I suggest moving 2-3 sectors to this time to start with.
There is one problem with your suggestion. Leagues are going to be moved to suit NA players better.
Split of fed’s space is pretty pointless (same for having more sectors) because it can hardly find couple of teams for 1 cycle. Back when we had 2 cycles of dreads, there were less games in 2 cycles than now in 1.

I did come to that realization. The central problem here is how to get more corporations to participate in dreads. I’m starting the No Man’s Land initiative and hopefully that will give more activity.
This is rather complicated, as people from all over the world play this game.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this, as I think the dreda battle rules are really not fair. And I had a weird idea: how about less attacks per sector and more dread times? This would improve the chances of fighting for a sector and would not be complicated to defend.
