NASA exploited conquest match (Ranks 7-9)

So, we still had no choice. Even if we knew that people were in rank 15 ships. If we wanted that sector we would have had to go against rank 15 ships no matter what?

No if you only play in the first 20 mins there is no chance of playing vs t4/5, after a while you might run into t4 teams, a little longer and you might find t5. If you never want to see unbalanced tiers just play in the first time slot.

Yeah, its just not fair, nasa should be allowed at least t5 ships to be able to win vs t3 ninja ZrJZKuJ.jpg

Yep, it is just too bad when it is t5 vs t5 you guys get nailed

Yes this is a problem

They know about this and yet nothing was done since this problem got introduced. Just check the feedback and bug reports. Working as intended, I guess.

Of course it is. I would issue a hot-fix on day 1.

Can you show me where that bug was logged, please?

Then again, NASA is playing in all gameplay ranks in Sector Conquest. You’re bound to hit us at some stage and even if we get your T5’s against our T3’s you’re still doomed.

Nonetheless, something does need doing about it. I think it’s one of the things that comes up near on as often as the Tai’Kin’s massive imbalance problems. If they introduced a bigger system, we’d have less issues…

it is not a bug though, this was known prior to the release, aka “acceptable functionality”.

So this can be feedbacked on, but it is not a bug.

Originally it was possible, then after many complaints it almost completely removed, but after some consideration, they partially added it back.

Yea, just need to downgrade those 7 taikins and get a r8 dessie.

I do not recall where, but I know that it was mentioned somewhere.

when I got an email asking why my corp (Behemoths) were not playing Sector Conquest: this is one of the many reasons

To be frank, I almost quit playing Sector Conquest when I was in Ninja. So many people have always been unable to adapt to the situation regarding corporations like NASA and they were so hell bent on playing the same way, never adapting to their losses and always committing to playing a specific way without compromise.

They continuously lost game after game against Nova, lost every game possible to NASA’s toughest wings and were so blind they didn’t see the necessity to use all of the resources available to them, even though they had the capacity to do so.

Only reason I joined NASA was because they adapted and have the capacity to adapt further. We have over 200 active players, most of them now the best players in the game and people complain because all people see is a ridiculously overpowered ship. If anything, you should see just how much money these people have put in to even get there.

But whatever you do, please don’t blame the pilots for hugging up to the meta, after all it’s just human nature. Even NASA fails at times because of players on the enemy team that evidently suck, taking the top of the leaderboards because of the ship they’re flying. Hell, even I get mad - my Tai’Kin is only a Rank 8 and I have never flewn it in my life!

But there isn’t a T3 counter of T5 taikins with kidnap crystal and main caliber, and T5 dessies.

Yep. Ninja’s former resident spanner jockey knows pretty damn well there’s no counter, you don’t have to remind me.

That module is actually why I stopped playing engi for any of my teams. At least NASA have enough players to compensate and understand the concept of multiproficiency ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

This “bug” happened again last sunday, we queued to attack a t5 sector and we got matched agaisnt some poor t3 team, it seems to me that the game matches whatever sectors players *arent* in together as it pleases, so lets not blame nasa here, we’re simply prepared to win at all times so dont get mad for losing ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)
