Although you have identified something that has been bugging me since the first lot of christmas weapons were released, you listed what was wrong completely wrong.
All the “standard” weapons (pulse,beam,ion,positron,HB,singularity,RF,plasma,coil,rail,gauss,shrapnel) have their own independent 3D models with evolutions that vary from tier to tier or from Mk1 to Mk4. The “event” weapons (eclipse,phaser,KS,Mass driver, Flux phaser, Scatter gun, Destructor, gravi-beamer, PS) use the models of the standard weapons, although mainly the singularity cannon, Ion emitter and Coil Mortar.
The only reason I’ve learnt to deal with this however is simply because I know how much of a pain in the behind creating a 3D model is, and creating another 9 just because a couple of players complained would just be a waste of resources.
I agree with Nukem. I noticed this long ago, but didn’t want to talk about it because I know this game is lacking resources and stuff, and it isn’t really a huge deal. I’d fix such a problem if my game had more players, since it isn’t a problem actually as long as I have replacements.
I dont have a problem with multiple guns using the same models, it bugs me that the pictures show completely different (although aviable) models. The picture of the Eclipse Launcher for example shows the model of the Heavy Blaster. Why dont use the model of the HB then? I know, this isnt high priority, but it still bugs me

I know how it feels, but all you can do is deal with it since devs probably won’t fix it any time soon.
