Well, a friend and I were talking about star conflict and one of the interesting things we talked about was a co-operative multiplayer ship that was crewed by 4 people. Or something like that.
We thought this would be fun and more engaging for premade 4-man squads who work together to control a larger cruiser / carrier type ship. Think Cruiser Command from warcraft 3 or FTL, or a simpler easier to implement version - 1 pilot and 3 gunners. (or more)
Possible game modes?
have one of these ships on both sides of the conflict. All teammate spawns are within this ship. very similar to captain mode, but no squishy captains who die to a rush of suicidal interceptors.
I dont know how many players you can serve in one conflict, but if you have no limits, I must say it would be very cool to see a fleet of these carriers against an enemy fleet.
i will prepare myself for the onslaught of negative feedback.
TL:DR - giant ship crewed by more than 1 player. SC is a multiplayer game anyway.
