I think it will be a nice gift for this period, that impossible to find Blueprint. And not only for the New Years event… :fed010: :rudolf:
It is a nice idea, but I am afraid that this won’t happen;)
That would be cool
Unlimited monocrystals!!!
I do not believe, it’s obtainable right now, but it’s definitely in the game itself, just hidden in plain sight from us - disabled.
I have seen it and it was supposed to be only obtainable in assignments - errand missions.
Transport missions should offer it as well, since they are implemented now. It would be a nice way, to offer something good in exchange.
They should put it in exclusively for the New Year sale, or maybe forever, but with certain requirements or limitations:
-
monocrystal blueprint option should only be active, if you got a premium account, or certain rank with all of the factions, even if you obtained it.
-
karma or reputation can provide a benefit here. (-5, +5)
Now it serves no purpose whatsoever.
I believe, that this blueprint is the most important way to promote F2P model (free to play), with addition to P2G model (pay to get).
This chance now, is the perfect example to show, that developers do not care only about their money, but players themselves, as well.
Keeping it from our reach, will solve nothing in the long run and it will only show that developers do not mean, what they say.
That would be cool
Unlimited monocrystals!!!
Not at all. You would still need to have all of your resources to get one.
It costs 1 Computing Chip, 1 Osmium Crystal, 1 Metal Blank and 10 Artifacts, so it’s clearly not an infinite way, since Iridium is used for artifacts as well.
It would be a right thing to do. They don’t need to fear, that their sales will go down, because of it. It may even improve, since people would be glad, that they have a choice now.
Many players can’t afford a lot of resources, let alone a huge amount of artifacts, so they may rather risk and spend some gold coins, to get them.
It is a nice idea, but I am afraid that this won’t happen;)
Why not, Error?
Because they only care about money. Every update for this game been crappy., which is why we only get 1k-2k players online maybe less. If only development was like Warthunder.
- monocrystal blueprint option should only be active, if you got a premium account
Why are you so selfish?
Why not, Error?
Because making the rarest resource of the game a common resource makes no sense.
Would be cool
It should be available to everyone.
Being a bit more serious than my previous post: what is the point of exceptional content if it is available to everyone? I have worked very hard to get my Octopus and it gives all the more satisfaction being able to fly it. Do you guys seriously want to turn the secret project ships into premium ships? I would say there are enough premium ships in game, no?
Even if it’s available, even if some fresh meat manages to craft a monocrystal, they still can’t use it.
Remember, you need at least rank 14 with each faction, to have access to top secret projects.
The rest of the marK V weapons, modules and equipment blueprints will soon need monocrystals.
Daily monocrystal missions won’t suffice.
We need a plan and we need a clever one.
Let us devise it here and maybe we can come to some mutual understanding.
Requirements:
They should raise the requirements for each monocrystal and include loyalty vouchers for all 3 factions at once, or raise the requirements to craft a single monocrystal by 2 or even 3 times.
Example: 1 Computing Chip, 1 Osmium Crystal, 1 Metal Blank, 10 Artifacts, 10000 Legion, 10000 Wardens , 10000 Armada, 10000 Vanguard, 10000 Raid, 10000 Techs loyalty vouchers
Dat logic. I agree with Koro; if the requirements to make it are very high, it would make it more available, but still pretty much the rarest still.

I made some stress tests on my cargo hold.
I have come with realistic assessment and values for each crafted monocrystal, which is still acceptable.
Please, look at all examples below!
To craft one monocrystal, once you obtain a blueprint for it, you would need:
- 3 computing chips, 3 osmium crystals, 3 metal blanks, 30 artifacts, 10000 loyalty vouchers for each sub faction’s faction (Empire - Legion, Wardens, Federation - Armada, Vanguard, Jericho - Raid, Techs) = 60000
total loyalty vouchers
Basic formula may be too high. It’s really questionable, but still affordable to some top end players, but costs are just too steep.
I will take this formula as a basic from now on.
So, to get only 10 of them, you can imagine how deeply would that affect your resources. Most smart people would rather wait 1 more additional day to get them for free.
- 30 computing chips, 30 osmium crystals, 30 metal blanks, 300 artifacts, 600000 total loyalty vouchers
Analysis: Just not worth it! Just play daily monocrystal missions and learn to be patient!
Basically, you can only speed up the process, but at least now, no one will ever again complain about the requirements, but they are too high in my opinion.
To get 100 of them, you would need to invest the following resources:
300 computing chips, 300 osmium crystals, 300 metal blanks, 3000 artifacts, 6000000 loyalty vouchers (entire capped amount)
Analysis: Simply too much. Only good to upgrade one T5 mark IV weapon (70 monocrystals) to mark V and 1 T5 module, such as Reverse Thrusters (30 monocrystals). Waste of time and resources!
Better to wait for more than 10 days to get them for free! When the rest of blueprints for mark V weapons, modules and equipment come out… Imagine the years of grinding…, if not decades.
This won’t happen…
The most stable and easy solution, which is balanced, but also not too hard to get:
If you want accessible/common option, this requirement should be used, since it’s balanced in my opinion.
- 1 computing chip, 1 osmium crystal, 1 metal blank, 50 artifacts, 5000 loyalty vouchers for each sub faction’s faction = 30000 total loyalty vouchers + 35000 credits or 350000 credits (optional)
Credit price should be high enough! Crafting price counts as separate.
I think it’s the best choice and it won’t hurt anyone. Sale of monocrystal containers will continue anyway. People will still go for the free option.
This option should be used, when you lack between 3 or 10 monocrystals, or just wait for a day and get them for free.
The point of the blueprint is not to amass monocrystals, but to get some with your own resources, if you lack just a few.
1 top secret project prototype ship is far too demanding with other resouces to allow us, just to waste all of them on monocrystals.
Opinions?
300 computing chips, 300 osmium crystals, 300 metal blanks, 3000 artifacts, 6000000 loyalty vouchers (entire capped amount)
Sounds legit. I’d be totally fine with this; basically 3:1 ratio for everything, making it exponentially harder than some other resources. But the fact that it is available to all will reduce the bottlenecking it causes for certain styles of gameplay.

I know that you agree with this, but to waste so many resouces to get a bit more than 10 days ahead, is not sane, or smart choice to do as well.
All we would get, is a monocrystal blueprint, but since the requirements are so demanding on the resources, 97% of top players, won’t touch it.
If you want the option to further limit access to obtained blueprint to prevent over use, which won’t happen. Read above, why.
However, since you asked for it.
Available blueprint is only active, available for use, if you own a premium account/license.
Which one, since everyone gets 1 day for free every 5 days?
Simple.
License for 1 month, 3 months and 6 months should automatically grant you access to this blueprint. (if you buy any other license, like for 1,3 or 7 days, you’re out of luck.
If you add your days by multiple options, like 4x 7 days, it won’t count. You need to buy 1 monthly premium license, so that the license will enable you the use of the blueprint.
Developers will get their money for the development of this game and players, those who do care, will provide them with the income for it.
Additionally, rank 15 requirement for all factions could be enforced as well, but I wouldn’t include it.
Problem solved.
Do you guys seriously want to turn the secret project ships into premium ships?
you can literally buy monocrystals from armory. How exactly will the blueprint make those ships any more premium than they are?
That aside, thinking everyone should have to farm just because you did is bad. Not everyone can play everyday for 2 months just to farm enough crystals for one ship

True. I think that the issue is overrated. Each person seems to forget, that each top project ship needs additional resouces as well and not just monocrystals.
The most common fear is, that the blueprint would instantly became available to everyone, but even if it does, it changes little. People who don’t have time, will still continue to buy monocrystal containers.
i dont want to be a pessimist exithole but i will
that one time of star conflict version 0.9idontknowhat. when we ALL saw that blueprint in workshop…
really there are only two possibilities:
-devs needed a placeholder and someone who was assinged a task of making one probably got a weedrunk or high or did things to its brain or got struck by “funny demons” and tought of making this placeholder visible “by accident” and name it the most sick and perverted thing this game could realistcly lust for…the MONOCRYSTAL blueprint!!! and guy probably is pooping his rearhole apart laughing over all the fuss that has become of it. entire (most of it) playerbase is chasing ‘ghosts’…so to speak…
-its a secret feature handed out only to those ‘special’ people, testers, buttkissers or any other epic creatures…and was visible to us all by actual accident…and the one resposible for that is probably already working in siberia because of it.
ok third possibility is that its all true, its a christmas suprise from devs, because they love us so much and wanna thank us for many mooneeyz we sent their way. buuuuuut yeah… right
