I’m running Star Conflict on a fairly old laptop and this might be a stretch but if you could add graphics settings that would actually give a decent fps and response time.
That’s one of the worst passmark scores I’ve ever seen :S
I do agree wholeheartedly with having minimalistic graphics settings, the more people can play the game the better.
That said, I fear your 1mbps connection is the heart of your woes. If that’s your download speed I shudder to think what your upload is. Most people tend to recommend at least 6mbps for gaming.

i have 1mbps too and no have problem with the game, even playng the game in the LOW—LOL
Maybe you shouldn’t open your mouth if you are clueless?
If you got 6Mbps both Up and Down you can easily even stream while playing, you only need 2Mbps upload to stream with good enough quality and really no upload at all to just play the game itself, let alone any download speed.
Even a 512Kbps connection will easily handle any game, just look at the bandwidth usage of the game before you open your mouth…
First off, chill a little.
Secondly, I heard that the reason at least 6Mbps is recommended is to cope with fluctuations in speed, whilst you may manage with 1Mbps if it’s consistent, if it isn’t then things are going to get choppy.
Per your ‘suggestion’ I did go and check the network usage of star conflict and you are correct, it tends to stay under 512kbps. (I got an average of 427kbps).
So, to the OP: my apologies for misleading you. I was (correctly) advised that I needed a fairly consistent 6mbps to play games such as WoW and EvE and I’ve been working on that figure ever since.
I’d still recommend improving on 1Mbps, if other people are using it or you have other programs on your computer making use of the internet then it will likely cause problems.
