whenever i’m pirating in invasion and i see a tackler when i’m in my recon, i think YAY! But whenever i shoot at it and miss and it cloaks and i plant my micro locater, the tackler stays cloaked and i’m out a micro located for the next few seconds.
this is really bad.
My suggestion:
Make the cloak on tacklers have the same thing that adaptive camo has. if it’s by a micro locater, it doesn’t work but once it’s away, it starts working again.
my suggestion ,don’t miss or if you are that bad, use a module that does not require aiming - Drone/ShieldDrain

Yeah, if you missed that means neither of you is red, so locators won’t work. If you had hit them it would have worked as intended.
Micro-locators don’t work on allies or neutral targets. Only, when they are red.
I am not sure, if that’s good, but anyway. If I would set up one, I would set it up to work for all targets.

Well even when i am a criminal, it doesn’t work. Only when i have attacked the person already.
I would be inclined to agree, if you are criminal it should decloak a none hostile ship aligned with the sector you are in.
In other words you may not be hostile to some bounty hunters or explorers and such. Because they don’t actually give a xxxx about the sector’s ‘alignment’.
