Medals for Detonation

I’m just curious why there aren’t more medals associated with the game mode Detonation, and why there are no achievements at all.

 

In my opinion, Detonation is one of the most fun and exciting game modes available. It would only make sense to include medals and achievements for successful plants, bombs picked up/carried, killing someone who is carrying a bomb, etc.

 

There are medals for capturing 2-6 beacons, why not have medals for picking up bombs or successfully detonating 1, 2 or all 3 of the beacons?

That is a great idea.

 

There is a medal for detonation though, the sprinter one, given to the first who picks up the bomb in the game.

There’s also another medal gained when you kill someone at the time you’re carrying the bomb, is called “make pass” or something like that.

Yes both of those are good medals because they are challenging to attain, but it can be much more challenging to have one successful plant, let alone all three.

 

Since medals are awarded for first kills, first beacon captures and first bomb pick up, why not first detonation as well?

 

I also think that the game mode deserves its own achievements.

 

As there is the Invader title for 100 beacons captured, why not have something like Demolition Expert or Pyrotechnician for 100 successful plants?
