Anyone finding the mk5 Laser beam mauler crit builds a bit ridiculous? 6k+ range, you get within 2000m of them and they warp away (still cloaked) and continue to destroy you and the rest of your team from halfway across the map

I find ridiculous the existance of RT, but the Mauler itself is fine. Without that module it would be just a good damage dealer, but with no escape mechanisms.
use t-rex mk2. or recon to fix.

i actually think i’ve killed you more than 15 times on ur tackler with unguided missiles
i only use unguided. on my cov ops i think i got guided. you can’t 1v1 cause u sit with recons and tacklers all the time and runs away when u can. ur always in a squad aswell.
here is a suggestion, make a new feature on stats that shows stats with and without being in a squad. then you would se how bad you actually are Xkostywhatevernoonecares.

only this guy is pro on cov ops, u others dont play t5 and you dont play sector conquest. "specially you residente, cause there is never any in wolfpack to play sector conquest :005j: . i play sc alone, i see blade there somethimes but he is the onliest guy there. u guys and ur lack of t5 ships and experience is thro the roof.
milfeulle beats me 1v1 when both cov ops. but the results with both ecm is very interesting and fun in my opinion. i enjoy a good match but i dont really enjoy having teammates that lacks skills when we play vs a good squad setup, due to me always being in the front lines and just wondering why my teammates is so slow. but its just when ppl start shoting our team either falls back or something.
its just a typical nasa tactic and i tried to learn my team. if 1 nasa attacks our beacon. attack the 3 other nasa players instantly cause 4v3, but what happends? 50% of my team if not 75% runs back and we lose our chance! they don’t realise that if someone attacks beacons the rest will have 1 less players due to low skilled team :fed014: . but annyway, 70% of my games vs 4 nasa is usually on US server cause my squad teammate is US player aswell. and most players in nasa are US players
i don’t play sector conquest? we were on the same team yesterday u muppet. everytime i see u in a game in cov ops when I am flying cov ops (with normal ping) u run after a few seconds, dont give me that crap. in a 3v1 a few weeks ago next to a beacon i made u cloak away after a couple of seconds leaving me to fight the other 2 intys in my falcon. sure, i am nowhere near the best inty pilot and i still have a lot to learn but i am hell of a lot better than u i see u cloak up to a target to try and get an arc in, weak. if i see a good pilot on the other team like milf, taka or karmaa, i have to concentrate alot to avoid getting completely owned but with u i can go into cruise control mode. your only defence is em torp / reverse thruster combo or ridiculous laser beam crit / guided torp combo.

Is there anything worse than chasing a recon all over the map? I did it once, but he was fed and I was emp, and that xxxx won the match because of it.

Mauler is good for hitting a steak. It’s flat then. Remember, good Maulers are vital for quality consumption.
My idea to fix the RT is to give the RT a charge meter. The longer you hold down the charge meter the further back you go. While charging, you can’t activate anything else, and it removes the “cloak” that LRFs have if active. 1s charge for ~1k warped backwards (max of 10k). The longer the charge built, the longer the recharge of that module (~30 seconds per kilometer warped backwards). The numbers could be tweaked some for balance, but the concept is mainly what i’m thinking of.
Well, my Archdragon has a RT cooldown which is less than 38 sec, this is a little bit weird for others. But i don’t care really, and i wouldn’t say that this module is absolutely overpowered it just makes the hard fight against a LrF insane.
Anyway this modules gives LrF’s abilities they shouldn’t have, but while this module exists it’s a must have for my LrF’s, if they remove it… Back to the good old EM Scattering field.
