make the monocrystal missions limited to safe zones

Sometimes it’s real fun to fight pirate players out in invasion mode. Sometimes all I want to do is get my monocrystal dailies, and have a  relatively good shot at doing that. When I get sent to a dangerous zone to get monocrystals, it gets pretty annoying to have pirates waiting in the sector to shoot you on sight, thus requiring monetary repairs/duplicators just to do the daily.

I suggest you limit the monocrystal missions to blue safe zones, to give us a choice to either do the daily missions, or hunt pirates and gather rare materials in danger zones.

It’s not that hard to do mono missions

Also you can try recon. If you know you are going to dangerous zones, fit accordingly.

You don’t need to do your missions solo.

Ask for help. Instead you’re complaining.

Monocrystal missions should be always in red zones. It’d add some spice to Invasion.

Yeh, I want some Red Chilli.

I like it!

Well that was a bit harsh. It was just a suggestion

Seems most people disagree, and I’m cool with that. I guess I just need more practice in these zones.  The purpose of the post is to suggest that the pvp element of daily mono missions could conceivably be separate from the mission.  I only suggest this because I sometimes find people waiting in zones ready to fight even though I just wanna  do my thing, and ignore them.

I don’t think the current system bad or anything, but I thought it was better for me personally if I didn’t have to fight pirate players while doing mono missions. I wanted to see if anyone else felt this way, though clearly nobody does haha.  I can toughen up, and deal with it. No real complaints here, just a suggestion.

I guess I sometimes see invasion as a freeplay mode, even though it’s obviously meant to be a mix of pvp and pve freeplay.

-Genelnari & Eviscerator, Thanks for the tips on ship choices, I will try that in the future.

Seems most people disagree

Although I disagree with your suggestion, the fact is that we don’t know the opinion of most people who play Star Conflict. The six people who disagree, so far, do not constitute the majority of the players nor do they in any form represent player opinion. They are merely forumites with the loudest voice. Therefore don’t assume that whatever that is posted here is what “most people think.”

Don’t get me wrong though. I’m not trying to be condescending or anything like that. A wild guess is that if we took a poll regarding this suggestion I bet that the half, if not all, of the voting population would vote in favor of this suggestion.

Monocrystal missions took an hour of my time. It wasn’t hard but it took so long I almost quit playing and started playing “At-War”. I was farming but I wasn’t having fun. It’s not fun to be muted or raged at or listen to stupid conversations

/end rant

For me, they take either 20-30 or sometimes even 45 minutes. It’s all about the mission I get and how far it is.

agreed

I think monocrystals should be one of the hardest materials to get in the game, and including a PVP element to these missions would be very nice.  For example mono missions could ask you to kill another for a ransom.

well for m the only alien monocrystal mission that I would be happy to get out of the game are the ones in Iridium mines, because sometimes that sector is closed of for “special ops” and it makes you wait until its over to do it, but sometimes ppl dont have the luxury of time from real life to wait unitll that special ops is over, and alot of ppl also say well then cancel it, but what happens when you cant cancel the mission?

get rid off the alien monocrystal missions in iridium mines

O.O takes me a total of 5 minutes to do all 3 in a recon. Unless 3 escort missions come up in a row, then it can take about 15 (this is rare)

That is assuming you pay 800k to switch hangars. Some people can’t afford that/are to cheap to pay for it. I’m in the same boat as you, they take me about 5-10 minutes to do all 3, but I am willing to pay the 1.6mil it costs to jump twice.
