Make Secret Project ships great again!

I am suggesting that all Secret Project ships get an increased bonus that applies only to them.

They need this. It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing.

 

Current passive Secret Project ship bonus:

  • Maximum hull strength increased by 7,5%

  • Maximum shield strength increased by 7,5%

 

Suggested passive Secret Project ship bonus: (+2,5% increase)

  • Maximum hull strength increased by 10%

  • Maximum shield strength increased by 10%

I say increase all resistances by 5 points and leave the volumes how they are. I would also say, give all SP ships a hull regeneration rate ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

That’s a feature that should be reserved only for Ellydiums’ ships.

Yes, in addition to what I already proposed.

Just by the sheer nature of acquiring the special project ships, I agree that they need something special to let them stand out in a unique way.  Increased hull/shield resist, embedded hull regen among other suggestions aren’t bad ideas, also, something I’d like to see (and would give more people desire to play them/persue them) have sp ships considered “max” rank regardless of what your max rank is for that faction for the purpose of missions.

they _are _unique and stands out. You can change the passives and layout, or even the special

 

 

It would be better for them to have unique weapons/modules/modifier instead. But they’ll get it sooner or later, like all standards ships will.

The fact that they are no different than gargoyle, dart, endeav or the other ship worries me. They should have something that would stand out more, but not special modules dedicated to them. Rather good old bonuses, like koromac proposed or increased shield regeneration (in opposition to ellydium ships).

But gargoyle, dart, enveav and other ships are special ships too…

Picking the passive slots isn’t good enough?

Gargoyle, dart… these ships are special, but have their own modules and weapons. Secret projects have none of that. In a way these special ships are more special than actual secret projects, which are supposed to be the END, the ones you would get one day…

I agree. Premium ships are extremely expensive and for the amount of time and resources invested, they are just not competitive anymore.

They need an upgrade! Maybe some sort of reverse engineering extension.

Got you, giving them a unique passive module would be cool, a different special module maybe.In the other hand having the ship buffed is unnecessary, their weakness is a symptom of the ellydium fever, we gotta treat that parasite, not the fever.

No they aren’t anymore.

Ellydium is the new “end”, even lore wise. 

Picking passives isn’t an SP exclusive thing any more. And the special modules are sorta cool but still basically just the normal modules. SP ships should be able to chose between all of the special modules of their role from below them. As in jaguar can get the mantis cloak and Saw can get the regenerative diffusion shield and Octopus can get Styx Drones etc. That would make them the ideal end-game content and actually worth grinding parts for again. Especially since they are about 50x harder to get since they were released.

 

They should also get all the premium passive abilities like spat scanner and extended cargo by default.

They do need some extras, not much, just to stand out at least, Added for review.

I noticed that many players are now producing significantly less Secret Project ships than ever before.

This is not good for business!

 

If left unchecked, I can say that those ships are like from the ancient times now, worthless, obsolete and not worth any serious attention anymore.

I farmed them for years, all 9 of them and now I can only laugh, when “Ellydium” in general outperforms them at every step of the way.

However, to upgrade one “Ellydium” ship to full, it takes approximately 6 months with Premium license and 8-9 months without it.

60 months or 80-90 months in total. How many years is that? To have them all, for free, you know. ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

Unique modules/special module for each one?

 

I mean the Dart/Gargoyl/R14 dessies/Spiral/Endeavor and most builded premium have at least one

 

Unique weapon system is optional

 

The more they stand different from the usual ships the better they are, making them truly a secret project instead of secret hull design
