I have spotted a fundamental flaw in the current looting system since coming to tier 3… it does not reward player’s actions, only their position.
To explain what I mean, I was just in a match where I captured 3-4 beacons, got multiple assists (12+) and our side won. I finished quite low on the scoreboard and I earned 78K before loot.
Yet in the exact same ship I have flown a match where our team got completely slaughtered - I got less than 400 points in that match, but I was top of the team and so earned around 110K.
This is wrong. I shouldn’t earn more money by hoping my team are stupid and we get slaughtered. I should earn based on my in-game performance - the higher my personal score, the higher my loot.
I see no problem. If the rest of your team are terrible your absolute score will be lower (for example you won’t get many assists if no one else is killing anything), and it doesn’t reflect on your personal skill, so you shouldn’t be punished for it.

But the current system does effectively punish you. “Yes, I know you got 3000 points that match, but six people got 3010 points so you don’t deserve to be paid for your effort.”
Doing well, regardless of position, should pay a bonus - not just for being in the top two places.
The looting system is a major problem. There’s no problem with it, just that it’s a problem unto itself.
