Just looking for some good people to bulldoze through some PVE. I’m 28, I live in Cali, I have a mic and i’m looking to hammer through PVE with a good, efficient group. I mostly pilot engineers but I’m interested in piloting other ships once my engie’s are fully outfitted.
well, you are looking more for a corp than a squad.

Actually I kind of want just some good people on my friend list. The problem with corps is that they get all kinds of players, and some of them are pretty bad at PVE or following directions (no offense). You only need 4 people to make a good PVE group, even just 3 people can pull it off. So I just need good people on my friend list that I know I can count on to work effectively in PVE and are usually down for a game if I send them an invite.
but every corp offers for sure good players for PvE - it is way easier to find these player there
Last night I grinded my way to a Minotaur (rank 11 engineer) and promptly equipped it with a few mark 4 items. From that point forward PVE matches have been easier with random scrubs as my DPS is over 5,000 and it can face tank the punisher + a handful of adds.
Let me guess… you put a heavy blaster on it.
Yes sir. Curved lens, increased rate of fire, increased damage, etc. In good groups, we all ignore the adds and take out the Nav Stations/Boss very quickly. In bad groups, the ship is so tanky it usually can hold it’s own anyway.

Is a Mauler just a LRF equipped with heavy blasters?
It has 6 turrets instead of 4, so it would push out 50% more damage. That would be pretty sweet. 7,500 DPS (listed) instead of 5,000
Still though, I’m happy with what my engineer can do. With the drones that orbit him and the 2 extra drones I fire off, the DPS is probably not much lesser than what the LRF puts out.

I can reach 6500 DPS with a rank 8 Cerberus. So with a mauler, (rank 13 premium LRF) I suppose you can reach 8000 DPS, + that ship has a lot of crit bonus.
I remember doing Blackwood in 5:20 with a squad of 3 maulers and 3 inquisitors (I had cerberus/crus combo) Guards for the 1st stage, LRF for the other two. The punisher was took down in seconds, and we didn’t even care about the mobs.

my GPU(Mauler) with blaster have 8242dps it deal 4900-5000 each hit to stations

TRex mk2 is better for 1st stage. Our record is 4:48 with 4x Mauler and with that squad all games were under 5:10

We should try Tiger2 instead of one mauler - mk4 painter suppose to boost everyones dmg by 40% so 3x mauler will do 20% more dmg than replaced mauler AND dmg from tackler

we should try when we get 3x mauler with mk4 blaster and mk4 dmg energy slot x3 + like you said R10+ tackler with painter mk4
I only recently became interested in playing PvE. I am a PvP player, but I enjoy the extra credits. I normally fly with other WPK members, but when they’re not on, it’d be good to have at least one solid player on a team
