Imperial LRF with the torp…I WANT IT NAO!
It’s just that players use the Desintigrator as main weapons instead of using 6 positrons full charged.
I will laugh the day PPL will understand this.
To my Mind the best thing that we could have is to have Multiphe “Special Module” :
For exemple : Jericho LRF or Empire LFR able to choose if they want the Guided Torpedoes or the Disintegrator
Another exemple : Engineer with Drone would be able to change the “Drones” for something else (Turbobooster, Teleportation ectect)
And that will allow the creation of new special module and new strategy.
This idea, I APROVE. It would make something viable to use gauss in gunships without wasting half of the overcharge bonuses.
To my Mind the best thing that we could have is to have Multiphe “Special Module” :
There have also been ideas around that. Give F-keys a special slot that modifies the skill itself. Kinda like pre-0.7 F-keys.
The problem in this case would be to create a monster that would devour the entire world.
Ive been told that on T4+ empire snipers are already a megatank. Imagine that with even more focused gunship firepower, it would become the destroyer of worlds, everything would melt in its path and the gates of hell would unleash a nightmare of unbalance never ever seen in the history of games.This

I’d miss 2 things while in sniper mode:

louder hoo-hoo alarm sound

more obvious when red enemy “<” comes too close and becomes white “<”. Maybe blinking “<” could help, or just make it bigger or something
2a. maybe even auto-turning sniper mode off if enemy gets too close. It’s pretty obvious why he came all the way in the first place. Real sniper surely would drop his cumbersome rifle and get his side weapon out.
I just want a hull tanked torpedo boat that fits the rest of my lineup.

I think LRF are deadly in T2 and below for the competent pilots.

Even Jericho LRFs. The Templar and the Priest Bartle are just stupidly op’d because no Guard worth a damn has AMS fitted. Hell, most of them have even fitted Flares. FLARES! Of course, there is the occasional rare Guard with AMS that actually kills the Torp… But they’re too rare.
