just a idea to powered the teamplay without close the door for solo players.
possibility to link multiple of squads when the opposite team have the same numbers of linked squads.
e.g.
2 link squads vs 2 link squads (with solo players on each side) managed by the matchmaker to balance.
Difference with old 4 men squad ? having same coordonate power on both side
