Euro/Russian prime time is very nice. You can find games at any tier in few minutes, less than 1 minute most of the time. PvE is almost instant.
T5 in USA or SA times would be more difficult.
And big squads will also have troubles finding games out of prime time.

Didn’t notice anything. Maybe it is because I just play T5 with no bots whatsoever, and I’m having a 6v6 game after 30 secs queue as always.
on that part that was’t the only thing that made people left just look at this, something long ago must have happen that the other black friday came long ago
That was a “Steam release” wasn’t, and game was going through fundamental changes back then, much whining occurred.

Also, most people play this game on the launcher, not steam, so the steam figures are not a good measure of the people playing.
If tomorrow the developers pay steam to bring the game to the highlighted page, we will see a big spike in users, followed by a slow decline as a good chunk of them leave the game for the next highlighted one.

I have been playing t5 exclusively since new rating system in what use to be a lowest population time ever. We have 3v3 -6v6s with queues fluctuating 00:30 - 5:00. It gets better when russians start to wake up, but you get more RU servers in return.
Granted, there are no squads, unless you offer someone else to make one to fight you.
It’s pretty good for European primetime. US is pretty good as well, usually getting matches in five minutes at the absolute most.

Really? I’ve been playing T4 exclusively for a month or two now, and it seems the queue is only getting faster. It is still mostly 3v3s during US primetime, but it’s still something.

Where is the proof that most play through the launcher and not through steam ?
One thing I have noticed mate, is that you often spout out your opinion, and claim it as fact, when it is not.

So I would like to know where you get this titbit of information from, so as to prove it is indeed fact, and not just your opinion, which often times, may very well be wrong.

also not sure about t5, but t4 is pretty busy until it gets to usa prime time which is like 3am for me so im not fussed. i usually get 8v8 games alot queueing solo in euro prime time with a 1-2min queue. u haven’t tried in ages solo

Both changes are not active anymore since a long time and no, there was no mass leaving cause of this.
Fact: Everyone I know, plays through steam, not the launcher.
Steam is not that hot in Russia, majority of them play through launcher,and considering majority of population is RU or post USSR rather, there is a solid ground for a statement that majority of players do not use steam here.
