Instruction nanoprojectors should be made from Alien composite blocks!

Suggestion:

Instead of having only Tai’Kin and Waz’Got items that can be converted from Alien composite block, provide us with the universal ‘Evolution’ item - Instruction nanoprojectors.

Workshop conversion method: [300] Alien composite block = [1] Instruction nanoprojectors. There are no trading restrictions of any kind.

Agree or if possible a bit more common Waz’Got R13/14 unlocks with “all previous nodes” unlock costed so far 4 / 5 / 5 Instruction nanoprojectors and next one will cost 5 again. So far for latest patch unlocks that was 14 Instruction nanoprojectors i spend with atleast 5 more with next unlock.Kinda scared that R15 unlocks will require 6 + each unlock.

Forwarded.

Agreed!

I voted NO.

Reason -  An alien composite block is basically a metal blank but of the alien material, the housing.  So at least one part would be involved, but its not the complete set of parts.

Using some of real life tech as a basis, a nano projector would be similar in nature to a micro photo emitter.  A circuit that produces pulses of light across an air gap instead of copper or fiber optic connection.   So, theres more parts involved in the make up of the nano projector.

Alien Block = Housing

Crystal Shard = for a projection lens

CPU = computing

Alien Crystals = Needed to convert human tech into EllyTech

Monos = To power the thing.

So ya, I do agree somewhat that the blocks are needed to craft nanos, but I voted No because a bunch of slag alien rock cant actually produce the kind of tech a nano projector is in my mind to be or used for inside a ship.   There would be more involved.

Crafted yes… but just Alien Blocks?  No.

Listen, this is a Sci-Fi game. It has nothing to do with the facts you just wrote. You missed my point entirely.

agree but in that case all aliens parts should follow the same path

I understood the point.

Im just keeping the game grounded within some basis of reality so it doesnt go off a deep end and into things that defy universal physics.

My post was only a general description of what I envision a nano projector part being and how it functions within a slag of rock with engines strapped to it.

One must keep in mind that Ellidium Corp ships are still human ships, just powered by alien tech that was captured or reversed engineered.

So on that premises, one must keep in mind that Elly is a hybrid form of tech, not strictly all Alien.   Thats why it should have a mix of human and alien parts, that make up a crafted part.

listen, the xenocontrol interface can’t be made out of composite blocks, nor can the life support systems, you are enforcing a reality that is DEAD!

Hmm actually both can be made out of Alien Composite Blocks for both Waz and Tai now ? The only thing you can’t make currently are any items out of the xeno-resource container.

For now we made craftable only Alien engineer structure. This is the essential part for building Waz’Got cabin. We’re considering the possibility to add more materials as craftable. At the moment using trading is the fastest way to get needed materials for nods.

by definition xeno mean alien or strange…dont beleive me?  Look it up.     So a xenocontrol interface would be some type of strange control interface, It wouldnt necessarily be comprised of the blocks, or it may be.   Could be harnessed energy or a waveform of light that the crystallized lifeform responds to when piloting an Elly ship.   As for the Life Support System, ive never envisioned this piece of equipment in Elly ships to be of Alien in nature at all.   What comes to my mind is one that supports human life, like O2 tanks and hoses and masks, fans, air condictioners ect…and other support systems that one would need inside a cockpit   Again, why would they need to be made of Alien Slag?   Dont forget that Ellidium Ships are not ALIEN only ships… they are Hybrid ships and the Elly Corp mixes and matches both crystallized tech and human tech together.   So having Elly parts crafted up from strictly non human materials defeats the purpose of the games concept of the Elly Hybrid Ship.   Its the Beings inside the crystal containers that are alive, not the entire ship…if you look at the ships, they are just twisted slag rock, but the crystal Beings along with the human tech interfaces transform them and allow them to be controlled by human pilots in human cockpits.   That control is translated from a human, to a human device, to a xeno interface, to the slag rock, to the crystal Being.   So not everything needs the BLOCK.  Only parts that require “strange” housings (xeno housings).  Because that is what XENO  means by defination… alien or strange…not alien as in not of this world.

Not, if you’re out of Iridium, GS and possible buyers. Would have been nice, if the Trade offer would still be pending, while being offline. This is a major flaw, in my opinion.

Trading was meant to be as a shortcut, to obtain things faster with a 100% guaranteed result.

Problem is that now is pretty much enforced - mandatory, because you only get around 1 Instruction nanoprojectors item on average. Same for special modules in terms of progression.

Thar’Ga was a perfect example. With Tai’Kin, that started to degrade.

You did not need special module shards and components, but missions. Ideal option would be to have two choices. One to trade, and one to farm to get it.

Ranks were also not locked to special modules. Now you need to unlock every special module in a sequential order.

Before you reach Rank 9 for the Waz’Got, quite a few such item is needed, then 3, 4 and 5 onward for each and every new node.

At higher ranks, every new node that is unlocked, needs this item.

It becomes extremely time consuming, thanks in no small part to limit cap and ultra rare item that will drop extremely rarely instead of being common across the board with the rest.

One solution is to increase the drop chance for this item (Instruction nanoprojectors), so that at least every 10th container will drop one Instruction nanoprojectors with 100% certainty.

Best option would be that all items would be matched in drop chances, so that there would be a constant flow of all such resources, and Trading as a fast-forward way of getting things.

The other solution is that those evolution and ship parts actually can be salvaged for a small amount of Iridium. Evolution item - 10 pts., Ship item - 20 pts. instead of being destroyed.

Grind has become too extreme in terms of grinding. You don’t play the game, but we do play it, and we all know that this is not a faulty premise.

You don’t need to add more materials as craftable.

Just add one - Universal item for all Ellydium ships - Instruction nanoprojectors (still need a different HUD icon, since it’s not Tai’Kin specific anymore)

You need to complete 3 tasks to get 1 assured item drop - Instruction nanoprojectors.

Once you complete all 3 of them, there is a 6 hour cooldown on them. This means that hard-core players will at least get 2, maybe 3, but more likely 2, on average.

One good suggestion example is here:

Out of everything the nanoprojectors feel like the hardest resource to get, and a good way to keep us under the composite blocks limit.
